Cruise and Pegg were also joined by 'The Crown' actress Gillian Anderson.

This outing of Cruise comes just a week after he was spotted enjoying Taylor Swift’s London concert last weekend.

Cruise was seen enjoying the Eras Tour concert from the VIP box which he shared with the Grammy-winning singer’s NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce. As Swift was performing hit after hit, the duo bonded and were seen laughing.

On Saturday, Coldplay, headed by Chris Martin, made history by headlining the festival for a record fifth time. After making a debut in the New Bands Tent in 1999, they returned to headline in 2002, 2005, 2011, and 2016.

The band made their performance extra special as Michael J Fox on stage joined them on stage for two tracks - 'Humankind' and 'Fix You', according to The Independent.

Tom Cruise's appearance at Glastonbury sparks enrage

Netizens were left seething as Cruise made an appearance at the Glastonbury Music Festival, with many slamming the actor for having time for concerts but not for his daughter Suri.

One wrote, "I just don’t understand this man. He has Peter Pan syndrome. Surely your time would be better served reconciling with your daughter. These moments would be better shared with her. No?"

"All this time to go to concerts but no time for Suri," said a person and someone else added, "I thought the only thing Tim Cruise did was hang out at the scientology centers and with David Miscavage."

"Very uncool vibes coming from the old fella. Phone your daughter and congratulate her on her graduation," remarked another person.

An individual fumed, "Disgraceful he let his beautiful daughter grow up alone without her father in her life." "Cruise is reliving his youth and has forgotten he has a daughter," observed a netizen.

One criticized Glastonbury Music Festival's VIP platform, writing, "Viewing platforms above the festival goers for rich celebrities , that is not what Glastonbury was about."

Another person was, however, a little more sympathetic about the actor, as they said, "Tom is practically Royalty at this stage. Will never forget his appearance at the Queen's final anniversary. He comes across as being so down to earth and humble. Doesn't act like he's a big star. Love his bromance with Prince William and Simon Pegg."

"He seems so lonely, yes, he has many acquaintances but it doesn't look like they have a real connection," observed a fan.
