Tom Holland 'confirms' wedding to Zendaya in surprising update on proposal plans
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Actor Tom Holland has apparently confirmed his marriage to actress Zendaya, putting an end to months of speculation surrounding their relationship during a recent interview with Esquire published on Tuesday, June 16.
He also discussed the AI-generated wedding photos that circulated online. Although Holland remained guarded about the details of their wedding, his comments provided the first direct confirmation that the longtime couple had tied the knot.

The confirmation came during a conversation about fake AI-generated wedding photos that appeared to show the two celebrating a wedding on Lake Como, Italy. According to Esquire, Holland shared that his grandmother had seen the images and mistakenly believed she had not been invited to the ceremony.
When asked whether he had to reassure other family members who may have believed the photos were real, Holland responded, “No, because they were all there,” declining to share further details about the wedding itself.
When Esquire asked him to elaborate on the highly private event, Holland simply replied, “That's all you'll get on that.”
Wedding speculation had been building for months. Earlier this year, Zendaya playfully addressed the rumors during an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' while promoting her wedding-themed film, 'The Drama.' During the interview, host Jimmy Kimmel mentioned reports circulating online that she and Holland might already be married.
“I'm sure you know the internet has gone berserk with stories that you might actually be married to Tom,” Kimmel said. “Really? I haven't seen any of that!” Zendaya jokingly responded. The rumors gained further momentum when her longtime stylist, Law Roach, stated in March, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.”

While Holland remained unwilling to discuss additional details about the wedding, he spoke extensively about the role Zendaya plays in his life and career. “Our business can present very stressful situations, and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he told Esquire.
He further added, “We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.”
The actor continued his praise, saying, “So, for me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I have ever been when I'm with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
The couple is now preparing for a busy summer as they promote their respective films, 'The Odyssey' and 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' both scheduled to arrive in theaters in July. They also made their first red carpet appearance together in four years in Madrid, Spain, on June 15.
Holland recently spoke about her acting abilities during an appearance on Amy Poehler’s podcast 'Good Hang' on June 2. Reflecting on what he has learned from working alongside her, he said, “I think what I love about watching her work as an actress is she's just fearless.”
