A little update from us; this Christmas we were together as a family and this year we will still be a family but just structured a bit differently.

Our marriage is coming to end, but we’ve had an amazing 28 years together and two incredible daughters.
We will always be in…
“This Christmas, we were together as a family, and this year, we will still be a family but just structured a bit differently,” Richard Hammond wrote. “Our marriage is coming to an end, but we’ve had an amazing 28 years together and two incredible daughters.”
Hammond, 54, underscored the mutual respect and love that remain central to their relationship. He said, “We will always be in each other’s lives and are proud of the family we created.” During this transitional period, the couple has chosen not to provide further details and requested privacy for themselves and their daughters, Isabella, 24, and Willow, 22.
Richard and Mindy married in 2002, building a life together that Hammond described as "amazing."
In his book 'On The Edge: My Story', Richard wrote, "In an instant, I fell in love with her and realized I had met my soul-mate and best friend for life."
Just four years into their marriage, Richard's life was forever changed by a horrific car crash in 2006. While filming 'Top Gear', his vehicle flipped at a staggering speed of 319 mph, leaving him in a coma for two weeks and nearly costing him his life.
Mindy dedicated herself to nursing Richard back to health, but when he emerged from the coma, he didn’t recognize her. Reflecting on the moment, Mindy shared, "It was disconcerting when, early after the crash, Richard looked at me from his hospital bed and said, 'You're lovely, but you're not my wife."

Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson, and James May step down from 'The Grand Tour' after two decades
On the career front, Richard Hammond and co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May revealed last year that they would be stepping away from 'The Grand Tour'.
After over two decades of collaboration, the trio decided to pass the torch to a new presenting team, ushering in a fresh era for the popular show.
Speaking about this decision in September, Hammond expressed excitement for the next phase, “The Grand Tour continues, we’re stepping away as the hosts, but Prime will be continuing it. I can’t wait to sit on my own chair and watch somebody else do it.”
James May also shared similar sentiments, reflecting on their legacy, “Jeremy, Richard, and I gave the format a really good thrashing, and now it’s time to let a younger generation have a go.”
