Tracee Ellis Ross tells Seth Meyers she didn't know she was part of Beyonce's 'Renaissance' movie

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actor Tracee Ellis Ross, while making a stylish statement on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', revealed that she had a guest appearance in Beyonce's 'Renaissance World Tour' concert movie.

Ross shared insights on her surprise appearance in Beyonce's 'Renaissance' movie while discussing starring in the film 'American Fiction'.

Tracee Ellis Ross wore a black tux on the 'Late Night' show on Thursday, December 14, and sported a pair of bright red slipper heels from Femme Los Angeles.

During the show, Meyers stated, "Tracee was in a movie that she didn't know she was going to be in, and that movie was Beyonce's Renaissance."

Flicking her sleek long hair Ross said, "Yeah, I have a guest appearance in the Beyonce Renaissance movie and yes, it's during the mute challenge."

Before showing a clip to the audience Meyers observed, "You seem very proud of yourself for how you execute the mute challenge."

Ross quipped in, saying, "It's very embarrassing. It's very, It's not great. So the mute challenge, people know the mute challenge, and I figured I really didn't want to mess it up, so I was just quiet for most of the song."

After the clip (that shows Ross winning the mute challenge) ends, Tracee Ellis Ross revealed that she and Cardi B are both in the same section. Seth Meyers remarked on the similarity between the two, prompting Ross to agree.

On September 1, during the first Los Angeles stop of Beyonce's Renaissance World Tour, the 50-year-old actor Tracee Ellis Ross participated in the #mutechallenge. She successfully followed Beyonce's command to remain dead silent during the song 'Energy', showcasing her enthusiasm and connection to the performance.

In an Instagram post captioned, "I muted y'all! WHAT A SHOW! @beyonce," Tracee waited until the lyrics: "Big wave in the room, the crowd gon' move/ Look around everybody on mute," and she zipped her lips right on cue.

During Beyonce's Renaissance World Tour, in honor of Beyonce's birthday month, Tracee Ellis Ross participated in the silver-themed dress code as encouraged by the singer.

Tracee's choice, a silver Paco Rabanne mirrored sequin chainmail mini dress, held special significance as it paid homage to her iconic mother, Diana Ross. Diana Ross had previously worn the same dress by the Spanish designer for a performance with The Supremes on 'The Ed Sullivan Show' in 1967.
