Pat Monahan shares an update on the current project of 'Train'
"I hear you're working on an exciting new project that will bring you back to New York... what is it about?" enquired co-host Sunny Hostin of the lead singer.
Monahan responded that he is "expecting to be in New York quite a while," adding, "It's a musical that we wrote all the music for, called 'Begin Again.' It was a movie with Mark Ruffalo (and) it's really close."
According to Deadline, the 2013 musical-comedy which the new stage adaptation is based on starred Kiera Knightley alongside Ruffalo, and was written and directed by John Carney. Two other movies by the filmmaker, 'Once,' 2017, and 'Sing Street,' 2016, have been previously adapted as stage musicals.
No further details were provided by Monahan, who decided to keep it all under wraps for now.

Who created the music for the 'Begin Again'?
The songs for the original film version were written by Gregg Alexander and Danielle Brisebois, from the rock band New Radicals, along with Nick Lashley, Nick Nowels, and Nick Southwood.
Adam Levine of 'Maroon 5' performed the stand-out song 'Lost Stars,' which earned a nod at the Academy Awards, with a nomination for Best Original Song at the 2015 Oscars.
The story revolves around a singer-songwriter, played by Knightley in the film, who is discovered by a struggling record label executive played by Ruffalo.
The pair collaborates to create an album that is recorded in public locations throughout New York City.
