LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce has now achieved something in the music world that his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift, has yet to accomplish.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently debuted his new single, 'It’s Christmas time (In Cleveland Heights)', which quickly soared on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart. This marks Travis' first Top 10 hit on the R&B chart—a milestone Swift has yet to reach.

The success comes as no surprise, given the NFL star's history of collaborating with his brother, Jason Kelce, on seasonal singles aimed at raising money for charity.

Travis Kelce teams up with Jason Kelce and R&B group Boyz II Men for holiday single

Travis Kelce teamed up with his older brother, Jason Kelce, and iconic R&B group Boyz II Men to record a festive new holiday single, 'It’s Christmas time (In Cleveland Heights)'. Released on November 1, the track has quickly gained traction on the charts.

With smooth R&B vibes from Boyz II Men, the song features heartwarming lyrics like, "It feels so good to be back home again with all my family and friends, sharing gifts and memories we make under the Christmas tree."

As of November 18, the holiday single, which climbed to No 8 on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart, has been streamed more than 71,000 times on Spotify.

In a statement, Travis expressed his excitement about collaborating with such a legendary group, saying, "I always have a blast when I get to join the guys on the Christmas album, but it was wild to be on a song with a group as iconic and timeless as Boyz II Men."

He further shared, "My friends and I grew up on their music, and it’s still in the rotation today, so it was just an unreal experience."

Despite Taylor's numerous chart-topping successes, she has never reached the top of the R&B Digital Song Sales chart. She recently earned six nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, making history as the first woman ever to be nominated for Album of the Year seven times.

Jason Kelce tops the charts with his third consecutive holiday album

A sneak preview of Travis and Jason Kelce’s new holiday single, 'It’s Christmas Time (In Cleveland Heights)," was shared on October 27. This sparked a wave of reactions from fans online, who expressed their excitement to hear the Chiefs tight end singing on his brother's album.

This marks the third consecutive year that Jason has teamed up with his former Philadelphia Eagles teammates, Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson, for a holiday album titled 'A Philly Special Christmas Party'.

Last year, Jason collaborated with Mailata and Johnson to release 'Fairytale of Philadelphia' on the same holiday album.

The single earned spots on several Billboard charts and was featured on multiple Spotify Christmas playlists, amassing over 3 million streams. The album includes other festive tracks like 'This Christmas' and 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'.

On the 'New Heights' podcast, the father of three joked that he has "fought his whole life to be the Queen of Christmas."

His latest collaboration with Stevie Nicks, 'Maybe This Christmas', a cover of Ron Sexsmith's 2002 track, managed to dethrone Mariah Carey’s 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' from the top of the iTunes holiday chart, as per USA Today
