Travis Kelce bonds with Caitlin Clark over Taylor Swift as basketball star raves about singer's Eras Tour
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce was all smiles as Caitlin Clark raved about Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour during an episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast.
The basketball star was the guest on Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast on Thursday, January 2, where she talked about her experience of attending Swift's show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, in November 2024, noted Billboard.
The Grammy winner’s boyfriend was also present for the concerts at the time. Clark said, “It’s just a great show and a lot of fun,” as Travis stated, “Ugh, that was so much fun.”
Caitlin Clark says her mother loves Taylor Swift
The 22-year-old player did not stop there as she continued, “My mom was begging me to take her. She’s like, ‘I gotta go, like, everybody’s talking about it.’ I’m like, ‘OK, OK’ … Full Swiftie, turned my mom into a full Swiftie now. Good time, good time.”
While Clark was praising Swift, the 35-year-old football tight end could not stop smiling from ear to ear.
The Indiana Fever guard also revealed that she attended Swift’s performance at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis in June 2023.
“That was a lot of fun. I went with some of my college friends and we had a good time together. I don’t know how you couldn’t have a good time at something like that,” she added, as reported by Page Six.
Travis Kelce called Caitlin Clark ‘awesome’
This came after Travis Kelce praised the former Iowa Hawkeyes player after meeting her at Eras Tour.
“That thing was rockin’, absolutely rockin’. … It was fun. Saw Caitlin Clark out there, got to meet Caitlin,” the Kansas City Chiefs star said in November last year, as per Page Six.
He continued, “She’s awesome. She loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart, you know? Played high school ball, college ball, pro ball all out here in the Midwest and it was cool catching up with her.”
“She was into the show, for sure. She was there with her mom and a few friends … I think this was like, her third or fourth show she’s been to. She’s a Swiftie through and through, man,” Travis added at the time.
The beau of the ‘Lover’ singer also noted that Clark was “just having fun — going to the shows and taking her friends and family and getting everybody to experience Tay up there on stage making the entire 69,000, 70,000 people go f**king nuts for four hours.”
