Travis Kelce debunks rumors of role in Adam Sandler's 'Happy Gilmore 2'

In the most recent episode of 'New Heights With Jason and Travis Kelce,' Travis Kelce addressed a rumor circulating among fans that he would soon be revealed as a cast member of the sequel to the Adam Sandler film.

While thrilled to be returning to the world of 'Happy Gilmore,' Kelce dismissed rumors circulating on the internet that he might appear in the project.

He expressed his desire by saying on the show, "I didn’t even know there was a job opening for a 'Happy Gilmore 2.' But if there is, I’ll be a f*****g extra", showing his willingness to accept whatever part that is offered.

"Any way I can get on a Happy Gilmore film or Adam Sandler film or set, count me in. I've been a huge fan of the Sandman, but this is exactly what it says, a conspiracy theory," Kelce added.

The Chiefs star's older brother addressed the bizarre theory, admitting he wasn't swayed by some rumors he had seen on Reddit regarding his brother. The legendary Eagles player said, quite bluntly, "There doesn't seem like there's a lot of evidence."

"There's three parts to this conspiracy theory," the newly hired ESPN analyst continued, citing Arnold Schwarzenegger as he offered his analysis of the theories: "Part 1, on the podcast, of course, Part 2 is 'Travis has been wearing this hat for a couple of weeks.' Part 3 is Happy Gilmore 2 was just announced."

The news was released as the 57-year-old 'Murder Mystery' star disclosed that a script for a follow-up to the cherished 1996 sports comedy is currently in development, with him reprising his lead role.

Sandler even put together a cast that included golf icons John Daly and Tiger Woods to add to the excitement, per The Mirror.
