'I try not to get too far': Travis Kelce keeps himself 'grounded' amid rising fame post-Super Bowl win
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The amount of spotlight Travis Kelce has to deal with can be blinding for many, but the NFL star knows how to handle it.
In his appearance on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America', the Kansas City Chiefs star talked about his newfound fame.
"When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect in life that much easier," Kelce said in the show on Thursday, June 6.
"I’ve always been a very grounded guy. It might not come off like that when I’m playing football but off the field, I just want to be a genuine person," the 34-year-old said.
"I try not to get too far down the road because you just never know when opportunities are going to present themselves," he added.

On being asked how Kelce would rate his life on a scale of 1-10, the Super Bowl champion responded, "20? 100?"
"I’m so fortunate, so grateful of everything that come my way in life," he explained.
"I feel like I’m on top of the mountain, even after winning the Super Bowl and having the off-season that I’m having. Living the dream, baby," he added
Ahead of his 2024 Super Bowl clash, Kelce was asked how he handles the extra media attention, primarily because of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The two-time champion responded, "You asked me how it is. And to be honest, I'm learning throughout this all."
He added, "I'm just kind of on the plane ride, just cruising and trying to figure this thing out on the run," as he navigates his surging fame while dating Swift.
