LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 34, has expanded his interests beyond the football field by purchasing a stake in a racehorse aptly named "Swift Delivery," a nod to his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift.

“Travis Kelce joins Team Valor International & Gary Barber in ownership of 3-year-old SWIFT DELIVERY,” the statement on TeamValor.com read. Team Valor International founder and CEO Barry Irwin confirmed the news to the Associated Press, sharing his excitement about Kelce's involvement. "It’s very exciting," Irwin said.

Irwin shared, “I met him at the Kentucky Derby and got to spend some time with him and stuff, and we talked about horses and everything. When this horse came to light and it was owned by one of my partners already, with the name I figured this has got to be a no-brainer.”

Travis Kelce’s investment has also caught the attention of his older brother, Jason Kelce, 36, who humorously reacted to the news on social media.

Jason referenced Taylor Swift’s song 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart' in a playful tweet directed at his brother, "But does it have an enlarged heart…. Can this horse do it with a broken heart! @tkelce."

Travis has previously expressed his interest in horse racing, sharing a near miss at winning big during the Kentucky Derby on an episode of the 'New Heights' podcast.

Recalling the event, he said, “I was a nose away from winning that f*****g thing, dude,” revealing he nearly won $100,000 after betting on two horses.

A source close to the couple shared with People in July that they are "very serious about each other" and that "the relationship feels different for both of them."
