Travis Kelce still has 'no plans on proposing' to Taylor Swift as couple approaches first anniversary
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There have been a lot of rumors ging around regarding Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's next move in their relationship.
However, according to several sources close to the couple, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has no imminent plans to propose to Swift, despite the growing hype.
The couple, who announced their romance to the world in September 2023, has been spotted spending quality time together lately, whether it be through their frequent romantic trips or their encouragement of one another's careers.
Travis Kelce has 'no plans' to propose to Taylor Swift in near future
According to various sources in a Us Weekly report published on Tuesday, May 21, the pop sensation and the Chiefs tight end are not planning to get engaged anytime soon.
One insider stated, "Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor. It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration."

The insider insisted that Kelce, 34, "cares very deeply" about Swift, 34, but they also stressed that "he's just not there yet" in terms of a proposal.
Rumors of a possible engagement were stoked by the couple's recent trip to Lake Como, Italy, which overlapped with Swift's European Eras Tour dates.
Following their September 2023 official relationship announcement, Kelce and Swift have continued to support one another. But they have no intention of hurrying into an engagement.
A different source told Us Weekly in January, "Travis and Taylor have no plans on getting engaged this summer." The insider added that their romance is "going amazing, but they haven’t even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other."
Besides, "a lot of their loved ones" would like to see Kelce propose "and some may even believe" that it will happen but not "anytime soon," the source noted.
This comes amid various rumors over whether the couple will get married. Earlier in May, a source told Life & Style that the three-time Super Bowl champion was "under pressure to propose" to the 14-time Grammy winner, adding, "The timing is right."
The source also suggested that Kelce would be preparing a "grand gesture" to pop question with, per Daily Mail. "They've been together almost a year now and they're madly in love, so it makes sense that they'd be discussing marriage," they said.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are living in the moment
Swift and Kelce are apparently living in the moment and savoring their time together rather than planning the future of their relationship.
A third insider told Us Weekly in March that Swift and Kelce "focused on rest and recuperation" with movie nights at her LA home and other activities during their break from the Eras Tour and Kelce's NFL downtime earlier this spring.
Kelce has been spotted cheering on his girlfriend from the audience as Swift continues her international Eras Tour, which began earlier this month in Paris.
During Swift's performance on May 12, astute spectators caught sight of the NFL star humming in a box. Actor Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid, the singer's best friend, joined him there.
Speaking with Us Weekly on May 18 at the 'Kelce Jam' festival in Bonner Springs, Kansas, Kelce lauded Swift's performances, stating, "Taylor's shows are unbelievable. If you haven't been to them, you got to try it."
The couple's romantic trips and outward declarations of affection have further fueled rumors that they are getting engaged. Though they have a tight relationship, people close to the couple insist that marriage is not a priority at this time.
