Travis Kelce's ex Kayla Nicole opens up about ‘friendship breakups’ amid feud with Brittany Mahomes

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce's former girlfriend Kayla Nicole recently shared her thoughts on the dynamics of friendship.

She took to Instagram and had a Q&A session with her fans on November 29 when someone questioned her about “losing friends” and the heartbreaks that come with it.

‘Friendship breakups are tough’

The on-air sports journalist shared, as per OK! Magazine, “Friendship breakups are tough. But it’s a part of life.”

Nicole further said, “People are sometimes only meant to be in your life for a season."

“Give yourself time and permission to grieve — because losing that bond can be heartbreaking. But also, acknowledge the bounty and beauty of friendships that you still have.”

“Shift your focus from what you’ve lost to what you have maintained, and even more exciting — the new friendships you will forge in time,” she added.

This came after Nicole unfollowed Brittany Mahomes on social media as she’s believed to have gotten close to Taylor Swift.

Brittany’s husband Patrick and Swift’s new beau, Kelce, are part of the same team — the Kansas City Chiefs.

Earlier in October, Nicole told People, “I do think it's important to publicly address this because I did publicly unfollow people.”

“The reality is I know these people in real life. And so, in real life, I've communicated to these people why I've had to publicly make the decisions that I made,” she continued.

Nicole stated, “To everyone it's like, 'Oh, you broke up a year ago,' and that meant it's like a light switch, you turn it on and off and everything goes dead and black and you don't ever speak to anyone ever again.”

She added, “That's not reality. I have ongoing relationships with all parties involved. She knows that I love her. That's a lot of history and friendship there, that doesn't change overnight.”

Meanwhile, there are reports claiming that Swift and Beyonce’s friendship has been going stronger than ever.

The 33-year-old singer recently attended the screening of ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce’.

Besides, ‘Queen Bey’ also went to Swift's film, ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’.
