WASHINGTON, DC: Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis believes she is the "face of the feminist movement" in the wake of the unsuccessful attempt to have her removed from former President Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case.

Willis filed charges against Trump and 18 other people last year for attempting to allegedly tamper with the results of the 2020 Georgia presidential election, which the former president has insisted was rigged despite lack of proof.

Fani Willis labels herself 'face of feminist movement'

Fani Willis made the statement during an interview with CNN on March 23 where she said, "I told Jeff one day, I didn't think I was the face of the feminist movement, but somehow I became it. And I think that women feel like women are treated differently when they're professionals and they're proud to see someone that is strong and trying to do the right job."

Moreover, Willis stated that she is "flawed like every human being", but she still intends to strive to carry out her duties in an honorable manner. She warned that "the train is coming" for Trump and stated that her staff had persisted in working on the case despite the attempts at postponement.

Willis added, "I am not a perfect human being, but what I am is a hardworking human being, and a human being that loves the community I serve and who understands this seat does not belong to me. It belongs to the people. And as long as I'm here, I'm going to try to do the job in a way that is honorable."

She also added, "I’m not embarrassed by anything I’ve done. I guess my greatest crime is I had a relationship with a man, but that’s not something I find embarrassing in any way. And I know that I have not done anything that’s illegal."

Internet trolls Fani Willis for her statement

Several internet users took a jab at Fani Willis when she labeled herself as the "face of feminist movement." A user posted on X, "Face of something but not feminist movement" whereas one added, "She most definitely does NOT represent this independent woman. In fact she’s an embarrassment to us all."

A person stated, "Her arrogance and ego will be her demise .... she feels like she is untouchable" while one mentioned, "She is not the face of anything but corruption."

A person also wrote, "She’s such a disgrace!" while one said, "Pride goes before the fall lady! Just ask Lucifer himself!"

One user mocked, "Ok I don’t see that but she lives within her own bubble…maybe someone should pop it and bring her back to reality"
