LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The View' hosts were quick to denounce Donald Trump as he endorsed the "God Bless The USA" Bible, which apparently costs $60, in a Truth Social post.

The Bible, created in collaboration with country music artist Lee Greenwood, includes the lyrics of the 1984 patriotic hit, "God Bless the USA," alongside texts of the Pledge of Allegiance, the US Consitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence.

Trump promoted the Bible, encouraging his followers to "make America pray again." He further noted that "religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country," asserting that their absence is why the country is apparently "going haywire," as per Forbes

Interestingly, the "God Bless The USA" Bible website claims to have no connection with any political campaign even though it uses the White House hopeful's "name, likeness and image" as a part of an endorsement deal.

On the latest installment of 'The View', Whoopi Goldberg broached the topic of Trump selling $60 Bibles by saying, "As millions of Americans observe the Holy Week leading up to Easter Sunday. You know who decided to announce his latest business venture."

Subsequently, a clip was played showing the ex-POTUS announcing the launch of the "God Bless The USA" Bible, and at its end, the panel appeared quite perplexed.

Joy Behar took the opportunity to quip, "The last time he was on his knees, he was looking to pick up a french fry," highlighting Trump's past behavior. She also recalled Michael Cohen's testimony, where Trump reportedly dismissed pastors as "hustlers."

The comedian subsequently declared, "This is hypocrisy at its most religious!" and pointed out the stark disparity between the former president's actions and his professed beliefs.

Sara Haines chimed in, describing Trump's move as "pandering" and emphasizing that he fails to embody the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Sunny Hostin took it further, labeling the merchandise as "blasphemous," though she refrained from elaborating, given the significance of the Holy Week. "It's Holy Week, and so I cannot say what I would like to say," remarked the lawyer with restrained frustration, reflecting the depth of her discontent.

A YouTube user noted, "A demon selling Bibles? The end of this world is near," and another added, "Not a godly man. He has also never read a book."

Someone else opined, "I’m not even Christian and I feel selling bibles as part of a political campaign is blasphemy."

"Jeez, he's selling Bibles and lying at the same time. Now, that’s despicable," said another person, while an individual joked, "Trump selling Bibles is L…O…L …SNL will definitely need to address this on Saturday."

A user simply wrote, "This is beyond disgusting." "That man ain’t never read that book," remarked a person.
