Internet divided as Kevin Feige claims 'Deadpool & Wolverine' popcorn bucket will outshine 'Dune 2'
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Marvel fans eagerly awaiting the next Deadpool movie got a fun surprise announcement from Kevin Feige, the headmaster at Marvel Cinematic Universe, during CinemaCon. He revealed that fans will get a special Deadpool-themed popcorn bucket.
Adding to the excitement, Ryan Reynolds, the main star from the upcoming 'Deadpool & Wolverine' flick, dropped a teasing tweet, stirring up even more anticipation about what this popcorn bucket might look like.
'Deapool & Wolverine' popcorn bucket announced by Kevin Feige
According to Gamespot, Feige just dropped a bombshell and revealed that 'Deadpool & Wolverine' is jumping on the viral popcorn bucket parade. But the X factor is that Ryan Reynolds, who portrays the r-rated superhero Deadpool himself, is taking the wheel on designing it, promising something "intentionally crude," as Feige put it. IGN shared an image showcasing what the popcorn bucket could look like on X.
Feige even went on record saying that this Deadpool popcorn bucket will outdo the 'Dune: Part Two' bucket, which created quite a storm on social media and garnered mixed reactions from fans who thought it resembled the human anatomy.

As per the Hollywood Reporter, Feige affirmed at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, saying, "We've asked Deadpool to design a popcorn bucket for 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. There are some movies that inadvertently make crude and rude popcorn buckets, and then there are popcorn buckets designed by Deadpool."
'Deadpool & Wolverine' is set to hit theaters on July 26, 2024. And alongside Reynolds, Hugh Jackman will be back as Wolverine.
