LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: For the fifth week in a row, pop sensation Taylor Swift's 'The Tortured Poets Department' is topping the Billboard 200 album chart, as reported by Billboard

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate.

Amid Swift's and Eilish's feud, 'Karma' singer's 11th studio album entered its fifth week in a row as No 1 on the Billboard 200 albums charts.

With this 'TTPD' becomes the first album to do so since Morgan Wallen’s 'One Thing at a Time' which led for the first 12 weeks of 2023. Per Billboard, 'TTPD'  has earned the “largest fifth week for any album since Adele’s 25 in 2016.”

Despite not taking the top spot, Billie Eilish, 22, is comfortably positioned at No. 2 with her recently released studio album 'Hit Me Hard and Soft,' which came out on May 17. After 'Happier Than Ever' in 2021 and 'When We Fall Asleep' in 2019, this is Eilish's third album to rank in the top two of the Billboard 200.

Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour stopped in Portugal over the weekend for two performances on Friday, May 24, and Saturday, May 25. She will next perform in Spain on Wednesday, May 29, and Thursday, May 30, after a brief hiatus.

Regarding Eilish, the singer received a lot of criticism from Swifties after speaking with Billboard in March, which led to her being ranked in the top 200. During the interview, she expressed her disapproval of musicians that not only put on "3-hour concerts," but also issue different album versions with varied packaging for fans to buy.

"Some of the biggest artists in the world [are] making f**king 40 different vinyl packages that have a different unique thing just to get you to keep buying more,” Eilish told Billboard. “It’s so wasteful, and it’s irritating to me that we’re still at a point where you care that much about your numbers and you care that much about making money  and it’s all your favorite artists doing that sh*t.”
