White House denies Mar-a-Lago spa sent teen workers to Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion
WASHINGTON, DC: The White House has denied report in The Wall Street Journal claiming that Mar-a-Lago's spa in Donald Trump’s residence was used to send teenage workers to the Palm Beach mansion of Jeffrey Epstein.
Now, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt strongly rejected the claims. She said it was 'shameful' to publish such a story. She also accused the publication of abandoning quality journalism and said the paper 'is wasting their once great paper writing' only to use 'innuendo' in an attempt to damage Trump’s image.
Trump administration rejects claims involving Mar-a-Lago staff
Trump's administration has called the claims false and misleading. Leavitt told TMZ, "It's shameful the Wall Street Journal is wasting their once great paper writing up fallacies and innuendo in order to smear President Trump and distract from his historic first year back in office."
Leavitt further emphasized, "No matter how many times this story is told and retold, the truth remains: President Trump did nothing wrong and he kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago for being a creep."
She also pointed out the role of the current administration, stating, "Now, it's President Trump’s own Justice Department that is releasing hundreds of thousands of pages of documents related to Epstein and his crimes."
What did The Wall Street Journal claim about Mar-a-Lago and Epstein?
According to The WS Journal, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago spa allegedly sent teenage employees to Epstein’s Palm Beach residence. The newspaper reported that staff members were aware that Epstein sometimes behaved inappropriately during appointments.
The report said the arrangement ended in 2003 after an unnamed 18-year-old employee raised a complaint. According to the Journal, the issue reached Trump, who told a manager to remove Epstein from the club. Trump later gave a slightly different explanation.
In July, he told reporters that his relationship with Epstein declined after Epstein took young women who worked at the Mar-a-Lago spa to work for him. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, he said, "People were taken out of the spa, hired by him. In other words, gone."

"In the spa. People that work in the spa...people were taken, hired, by him. In other words, gone...I told him, we don't want…
He added, "People would come and complain, 'This guy is taking people from the spa.' I didn't know that. And then when I heard about it, I told him, I said, 'Listen, we don't want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa.' I don't want him taking people. And he was fine. And then not too long after that, he did it again and I said, 'Out of here."
