LANSING, MICHIGAN: Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden while speaking at a Michigan rally, on Thursday, August 29.

The former president called out Biden for sleeping while on a holiday in Delaware, as reported by OK! Magazine.

“Do we have a president? He just got back from California. He was supposed to go to the White House, he never got there. He went to Delaware and he's laying on a beach sleeping all day long.,” the Republican presidential nominee said.

Donald Trump continued, “Who wants to sleep in public? He's sleeping. Do you think President Xi of China is at a beach sleeping? Do you think Kim Jong-Un is sleeping in North Korea with his nuclear weapons all over the place?”

“They don’t sleep so much. And we have a guy sleeping,” he added.

Netizens call out Donald Trump for ‘obsessing with Biden’

However, Donald Trump was soon reminded by his critics how he was found snoozing multiple times during his hush money trial earlier this year.

A user on X tweeted, “Trump fell asleep at his criminal trial and the first night of the RNC.”

Another user commented, “I think it's much better to sleep on the beach than it is to sleep in the courtroom during your own trial.”

Another user said, “Still obsessed with Pres. Biden, a part of his brain refuses to believe that Biden is not running anymore, which is the part that is not fearful 😂😂 because all the other parts are terrified of ‘The Prosecutor’, so he keeps reverting 😂.”

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - APRIL 19: Former U.S. President Donald Trump speaks to the media at the end of the day during his criminal trial as jury selection continues at Manhattan Criminal Court on April 19, 2024 in New York City. Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records last year, which prosecutors say was an effort to hide a potential sex scandal, both before and after the 2016 presidential election. “The man has NO self-awareness. ‘Who the hell want's to sleep in public,’” a user shared.

Someone else said while posting Trump’s pictures inside the courtroom, “I know someone who sleeps in public.”

“Hmmm ...sleeping on the beach, as opposed to sleeping in a courtroom when you're the one on trial,” one user added.

“Most normal humans would love a day to sleep at the beach. Get out of here with the weirdness dude!” a tweet read.

Another tweet was “Has anyone told him Biden is no longer in the race? 😵‍💫 Does he remember?”

The New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman reported in April that the 78-year-old politician “appeared to be asleep” on many occasions as the criminal trial on charges of falsifying business records progressed in court.

“His jaw kept falling on his chest and his mouth kept going slack. Now, sometimes people do fall asleep during court proceedings, but it's notable given the intensity of this morning,” Haberman added.
