WASHINGTON, DC: Shortly after President Donald Trump left Beijing following his historic two-day trip to China, he launched into a Truth Social spree on Friday, May 15, featuring posts about a golden statue of himself, a proposed White House ballroom, and more.

President Donald Trump's visit to China came amid deepening tensions between Washington and Beijing and escalating conflict in the Middle East surrounding Iran.

Trump began his social media spree just before 5 am as he boarded Air Force One en route back to the US on Friday, covering almost everything from a cabinet member’s wife’s new book, the newly erected golden statue of himself at one of his golf courses, the White House ballroom, and his TikTok video views.

Trump’s early morning social media spree started with a post unveiling a proposed “National Garden of American Heroes,” along with an illustration showing how the site near the Potomac River could look once completed.

“Right now, it is a totally BARREN field of Prime Waterfront Real Estate along our Mighty Potomac River,” Trump wrote in the post.

“When finished, West Potomac Park will be a World Class Masterpiece with elegant Landscaping, and adorned with Beautiful Statues, and be yet another one of my great projects to make Washington, DC, the Safest and Most Beautiful Capital in the World,” he added.

Moments later, Trump shared a post, hailing Fox News anchor and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, for her upcoming book about American patriotism called 'All American Patriotism: Celebrating 250 Years of America’s Greatness'. Trump credited Rachel for “revealing the true spirit of the USA.”

Not long after his second post, Trump launched his third post, sharing a photo of the golden statue of himself, which was launched last month at the Trump National Doral Miami resort.

In the post, Trump appreciated the support extended by political supporters. “I very much appreciate their support, and all that they went through to get it done! They are very good people. Those playing the Blue Monster, at Doral, are absolutely in love with it,” Trump said in the post.

Trump further talked about a subject that often grabs headlines. He said, “China has a Ballroom, and so should the USA.”

"China has a Ballroom, and so should the USA! It’s under construction, ahead of schedule, and will be the finest facility of its kind anywhere in the USA. Thank you for all the support I have been given in getting this project going. Scheduled opening will be around September 2028,” Trump declared.

Finally, Donald Trump shared a graphic claiming that TikTok videos using Trump-related hashtags had reached 400 billion views.

Trump left Beijing on Friday after holding several meetings with Xi Jinping.

During a state dinner on Wednesday, Trump praised what he called the “special relationship” between the US and China.
