WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump’s fan boy moment over Jaxson Dart doesn’t seem to end anytime soon.

Calling him “a big, strong guy”, the 79-year-old President once again pushed the New York Giants quarterback into the spotlight as he invoked his new pal to make a point about biological males competing in girls' and women's sports.

Dart found himself at the center of controversy after introducing Trump at a campaign rally, a move that reportedly left some of his teammates angry and disappointed.

Trump jokes Jaxson Dart would be 'greatest women's athlete'

During the Oval Office briefing on Thursday, June 04, where he announced a billion-dollar cash injection to the coal industry, Trump veered off the conversation to speak against the inclusion of athletes in women's sports if they have medically or hormonally transitioned from male to female.

The President then decided to recount a conversation he had recently had with his newest pal. “The quarterback Jaxson was the quarter— is the quarterback for the Giants. He's a big, strong guy,” he noted.

Trump then went on to recount a joke he shared with Dart. “I said (to Jaxson), ‘How did you think you’d do in women’s sports?’ He said, ‘Pretty good, sir.’ He didn’t know I was joking,”

The president continued to leverage Dart's example to underscore his opposition to biological males competing in women's sports.

“He wasn’t worried. Let me put it that way. It would have been the greatest athlete in the history of women’s sports. You've got to see the size of this guy. Like a male model, and he’s gonna be a great quarterback.”

This came after Trump stepped up to shield Dart amid the ongoing backlash against the quarterback.

In a Saturday Truth Social post, Trump shared a photo of Dart and his girlfriend, writing, “Thank you, Jaxson! It was great being with you.”

“I know you’re taking some heat from the Radical Left Lunatics who are jealous of you, me, and everyone who surrounds us but, but I also know that your Jersey also went to Number One, and you’re making Millions of Dollars, YOU ARE A WINNER — THEY ARE ALL LOSERS. I’ll see you in the White House!” the post continued.

Jaxson Dart defends decision to introduce Trump

In a separate incident, Trump defended Dart, describing him as a “handsome” and “beautiful guy.”

“When Jaxson gets harassed a little bit, he’s also loved more, because we have more people than they do,” the President said during a sit-down interview with his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump.

The quarterback himself defended the decision of introducing Trump at the rally, telling reporters that “Obviously, this was a unique opportunity, being asked and given the opportunity to introduce the President of the United States.”

“My thinking was pretty simple, in the fact of, I’ve always loved this country. I have extended family members who have fought in wars,” he said, referring to his uncles who retired from the Air Force and a great-grandfather who served as the Secretary of the Treasury.
