Trump caught listening to Taylor Swift’s ‘Folklore’ despite ‘hating’ pop star, Internet says ‘he’s a fan’
WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump and Taylor Swift have had their fair share of public disagreements over the years, but that hasn’t stopped the former president from enjoying her music—or so it seems, as per OK Magazine.
A recently surfaced photo shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) showed the 78-year-old Republican candidate apparently tuning into Swift’s critically acclaimed 2020 album 'Folklore.'
This revelation came not long after Trump publicly stated his strong dislike for Swift, following her endorsement of Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race.

Donald Trump caught listening to Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' despite ongoing animosity
The strained relationship between Donald Trump and Taylor Swift has been well-documented.
Swift, 34, has not shied away from using her platform to speak out on political matters, often directly opposing Trump and his policies.
Swift’s most recent political statement came after Trump's presidential debate against Harris on September 10 when she endorsed the Democratic nominee for the upcoming election.
"Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most," Swift wrote in a post, sharing a picture of herself and her beloved cat.
"As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country. Recently, I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site," she explained.
Swift continued by expressing her concerns over the dangers of AI-generated misinformation and made it clear where her political allegiances lay.
"The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth. I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election," she declared.
Swift praised Harris as a "steady-handed, gifted leader" and emphasized her support for the vice president’s running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, for his advocacy of LGBTQ+ rights and reproductive health care access.
Swift’s blunt rejection of Trump’s policies and endorsement of Harris clearly struck a nerve with the former president. Trump’s response came swiftly and bluntly via his Truth Social platform: "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"
