PRESTWICK, SCOTLAND: President Donald Trump is pushing back against claims that he sent a bizarre birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein, denying any involvement and calling the story “fake.”
The letter, reportedly drawn on the outline of a naked woman and featuring a signature styled to resemble pubic hair, was detailed by The Wall Street Journal.
Trump flatly denied the allegations, suggesting someone else may have forged his name and accusing Democrats of orchestrating yet another fabricated smear campaign.

Donald Trump dismisses birthday letter as a forgery
Donald Trump is distancing himself from a bizarre birthday letter allegedly sent to Jeffrey Epstein, which reportedly features a stylized signature resembling pubic hair.
Speaking to reporters outside the White House before departing for Scotland, Trump dismissed the letter as a forgery. “I don’t even know what they’re talking about,” he said. “Now, somebody could have written a letter and used my name. That’s happened a lot.”
Trump then pivoted to a familiar line of defense, invoking the so-called “fake dossier” and accusing Democrats of peddling lies. “Everything’s fake with that administration. Everything’s fake with the Democrats. Take a look what they just found about the dossiers. Everything is fake. They’re a bunch of sick people.”
He offered no evidence for his claims or clarification on who might have forged the letter.
Donald Trump says he's 'allowed' to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell
When asked about the possibility of a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime associate convicted of aiding his abuse of underage girls, Trump refused to give a direct answer.
“I don’t want to talk about that,” he said, But what I do want to say is that Todd is a great attorney. But you ought to be speaking about Larry Summers… Bill Clinton, who went to the island 28 times. I never went to the island."
Pressed again about a potential pardon, Trump said he hadn’t considered it, but noted, “I haven't thought about it. I’m allowed.”
