WASHINGTON DC: Donald Trump’s team is reportedly considering a pardon for Sean 'Diddy' Combs, but only after a key decision is made in court.

The former president is said to be waiting for a judge’s ruling on whether Diddy will be granted bail.

According to sources cited by TMZ, Trump is “more than open” to pardoning the music mogul.

However, the final decision depends on Judge Arun Subramanian’s response to Diddy's latest bail petition.

The sources further said, “If Diddy is granted bail, Trump will not make a decision on a pardon until Diddy is sentenced. If the judge denies bail, a decision will be made immediately.”

Deadline also reported an administrative source telling them that a comprehensive "get out of jail" card for Diddy is being "seriously considered" ahead of sentencing.

Diddy was recently acquitted on three major charges but convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act, a rarely used law that prohibits the interstate transport of prostitutes.

Legal experts reportedly believe that if the case had involved only Mann Act violations, charges might not have been filed at all.

Sources close to the situation told the outlet that the case “has resonated with Trump because the president believes Diddy — like him — was unfairly targeted by the feds.”

The same insiders noted that Trump’s Department of Justice recently dismissed Maurene Comey, the lead prosecutor in the Diddy case and daughter of former FBI director James Comey, who has long clashed with Trump.

The decision to float a pardon is seen by some insiders as politically strategic. “The timing for a pardon would be ‘perfect,’ because it would be a major diversion from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal,” one source told TMZ.

Internet backlash erupts over potential Diddy pardon by Trump

The Internet quickly reacted to the news, with many slamming Trump for what they see as an abuse of presidential powers.

“What’s the point of a judicial system with this Dorito as president,” one user posted on X.

“Protecting abusers. That’s the MAGA way. Sickening,” another wrote'

"Donald Trump is considering a full presidential pardon for diddy before his deadline on his sentence. So he was in Diddy Parties also. The world is run by PDFiles," posted one.

Others voiced similar sentiments, calling them “Birds of a feather…” and alleging, “He was at the Diddy parties too,” and “Diddy is probably in the EPSTEIN FILES too.”

One user added, “He’s obviously trying to get everyone to talk about something else, but the Epstein files.” Others called the situation “no surprise” and “the most obvious thing that could’ve happened.”
