HEBRON, KENTUCKY: Donald Trump has been called out online after he requested ‘Ave Maria’ to be played while one of his supporters faced a medical incident during his rally. The president was in Kentucky on Wednesday, March 11, when a woman reportedly collapsed during the event.
Trump was around half an hour into his speech when the unnamed woman behind him in the audience turned pale before falling to the ground. Other people present immediately alerted the Republican leader as Dr Mehmet Oz, chief of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), went to help.

Trump asks for Ave Maria during rally incident
“Is there a doctor in the house?” the Republican leader asked as the commotion happened, before adding, “Take your time.”
But soon Trump seemingly got bored as he asked the attendees, “Want to play a song? Do you think the people backstage are listening to me? How about Ave Maria? Ave Maria, if they are listening, Ave Maria by Pavarotti.”
Trump blames Gavin Newsom after rally incident
Nearly seven minutes later, with no Ave Maria played, the woman was seen recovering as the commander-in-chief announced, “She looks great.”
He also went on to praise Dr Oz for his response as he stated, “It's Dr Oz, can you believe it? Dr Oz! He's a good doctor. Thank you, Oz.”
The woman was then escorted away from the event as Trump added, “Thank you very much. We were talking about Gavin New-scum, doesn't seem like a very good subject right now. It made that young lady not feel so good,” referring to California Governor Gavin Newsom.
