Although there's no evidence of a physical relationship, the story has still grabbed the former president's attention.
Trump’s curiosity about the alleged affair between Kennedy and Nuzzi led him to make a personal call to Kennedy, who is married to actress Cheryl Hines, according to a report from Puck News.

Donald Trump reportedly asked Robert F Kennedy about rumors connecting him to Olivia Nuzzi, a 31-year-old reporter for New York Magazine.
An insider told Puck that Trump was eager to find out if the rumors, particularly about the exchange of "demure" intimate photographs, were true.
Kennedy, 70, reportedly dismissed the entire affair, telling Trump that he barely knew Nuzzi.
"He said he hardly knows her. He said he met her one time," a source familiar with the conversation told the outlet.
Though Trump reportedly contemplated addressing the situation publicly, even drafting a Truth Social post saying, "My condolences to Ryan Lizza…," he ultimately decided not to make any formal comment.
The reference to Lizza pertains to Nuzzi's ex-fiance, Ryan Lizza, a Politico journalist who ended their engagement upon discovering Nuzzi’s alleged relationship with Kennedy, as reported by Vanity Fair.
Interestingly, while Trump chose to stay silent on social media, his former adviser Corey Lewandowski was less reserved.
Lewandowski tweeted about the Kennedy-Nuzzi scandal but later deleted the post, which only added to the rumors surrounding the alleged affair.

After discovering her connection to Kennedy, New York Magazine put Nuzzi on leave, stating in a note that she had violated the magazine's "standards around conflicts of interest and disclosure."
The statement added that if the magazine had known about her involvement with Kennedy, Nuzzi would not have been allowed to continue reporting on the 2024 presidential campaign.
In response to the uproar, Nuzzi acknowledged a personal relationship with Kennedy but emphasized that it was never physical. "Some of my communication with a former reporting subject turned personal," she told The Daily Beast.
