LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Republican nominee Donald Trump, in his second rally since the recent debate, aimed to undermine Vice President Kamala Harris' performance by spreading unsubstantiated accusations.

Trump targeted Harris with false claims and diverged into various unrelated topics, such as crime statistics and immigration, to strengthen his narrative.

During a rally in Las Vegas, Trump spoke to a large crowd, criticizing Harris just days after their debate encounter, as reported by The Washington Post.

Donald Trump spreads baseless rumours about Kamala Harris' debate performance

Donald Trump claimed victory in the debate and declared he would not participate in any future debates.

Trump questioned whether Harris had received the debate questions beforehand, citing unfounded internet rumors, which the hosting network, ABC News, has already denied.

He also mentioned a baseless Facebook post that suggested Harris used audio devices hidden in her earrings during the debate.

"I hear she got the questions, and I also heard she had something in the ear. Fortunately, we had a leaker or a whistleblower. I don't care which. I love that person," Trump stated, implying that someone from the debate had leaked information.

Trump also made incorrect assertions about crime statistics.

He criticized debate moderator David Muir's reference to FBI data showing a decline in violent crime in the first quarter of 2024, instead citing newly released Justice Department survey data to argue the opposite.

"So David Muir owes me an apology," Trump remarked, adding a personal jab at Muir's appearance.

Trump shifted his focus to immigration, falsely claiming that a US Customs and Border Protection app was being used by cartels to find drop-off points for undocumented immigrants.

"Could you believe we have phone apps? The cartels have apps where they call in so they know where to deposit their illegal people," he exclaimed to the crowd.

This mischaracterization was part of Trump's continued efforts to criticize current immigration policies.

Donald Trump's false remarks about Kamala Harris' debate showing spark trolling

The internet swiftly reacted to Donald Trump's baseless remarks about Kamala Harris' debate performance, flooding social media with trolling and widespread criticism.

On X, one user remarked, "He lost so bad this is all he has lol. Tomorrow he’ll be claiming she cast a spell on him." Another said, "All this because he can’t admit that he lost…. Because he’s a loooooooser! He lost the 2020 election, he lost the debate, he’s going to lose this election too and then he’s gonna lose his freedom. LOSER!"

"What a Loser. He’s unfit to serve the country if he’s this detached from reality," wrote one person. Another added, "This sorry excuse for a man can’t accept he lost the debate, just like he can’t accept he lost the 2020 election."

One individual wrote, "Basically acknowledging he knows how bad he looked. Winners don’t act like this lol." Another pointed out, "In most countries they section people like this under the mental health act."

One netizen remarked, "Trump demonstrated in that debate that his schtick is tired and old like him. He can’t admit that he blew it. So he’s making absurd excuses invented by his handlers. Trump once again shows that he’s the perfect example of a sore loser." Another added, "He really is so pathetic…"
