Trump mocks Candace Owens with TIME-style cover over Brigitte Macron claims: 'Low IQ individual’
WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump and conservative commentator Candace Owens are clashing publicly after Trump shared a fake magazine-style image that mocked Owens.
The post, which featured a fake TIME-style cover calling her ‘Vile Person of the Year,’ marks the latest escalation in a long-running feud between the two.
This comes as tensions rise between Trump and some right-wing commentators. Reports suggest Trump’s comments were linked to criticism of Owens over her remarks about French first lady Brigitte Macron.
Trump: “Candace Owens’ stock, which was never very high, has fallen a long way. Her attack on the First Lady of France is despicable. I believe, in this case, without verification, she is an extremely Low IQ individual!” pic.twitter.com/bKJqw9B7d5

Trump mocks Candace Owens with fake TIME cover
According to reports, Trump posted a doctored image resembling a TIME magazine cover portraying Owens in a negative light.
The president criticized Owens’ personal attack on Brigitte Macron, whom Owens has repeatedly accused of being a trans woman. Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron, who has sued Owens for defamation, are allies.
“Her attack on the First Lady of France is despicable,” said Trump, who added, “I believe, in this case, without verification, she is an extremely Low IQ individual!”
The post also included a doctored TIME magazine cover with an unflattering image of Owens, featuring blurbs that read, “Candace Owens Lies, Lies, Lies,” “Uses Rich Men,” “0% Fact Check Ratio On All Credible Fact Checking Sites."
Trump’s remarks were also tied to Owens’ recent statements involving Brigitte, which he described as inappropriate.
Trump-Owens feud escalates over Brigitte Macron controversy
Candace Owens’ claims have sparked a major uproar and led to legal action involving the French first lady.
“Candace Owens’ stock, which was never very high, has fallen a long way,” Trump wrote.
Owens, who was once a strong supporter of Trump, has recently criticized him over his stance on the Gaza war. She has also made claims about the administration’s involvement in Charlie Kirk’s death and alleged that Israel pressured the US to attack Iran.
So far, Trump had not directly attacked Owens on social media. The controversial streamer and podcaster has not responded to Trump’s latest comments.
“No show today!! Sorry, I thought I had announced I was traveling with my family. See you guys next week!” she wrote.

Candace Owens conspiracy claims on Brigitte Macron fuel legal fight
Owens has repeatedly promoted conspiracy theories claiming that Brigitte Macron was born male and later changed gender.
There is no credible evidence supporting these claims, and they have been widely debunked. Brigitte Macron has taken legal action in France against individuals spreading the allegations, calling them false and harmful.
In July 2025, she and her husband Emmanuel Macron sued Candace Owens for defamation in Delaware Superior Court.
Owens, however, has called the situation the "biggest political scandal in human history." She has also linked it to the Stanford Prison Experiment and alleged CIA plots, which critics have described as "absurd."
