WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump escalated tensions on Tuesday, June 24, with a scathing social media outburst, mocking Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and daring Democrats to pursue impeachment over his recent military strikes on Iran.

Posting while aboard Air Force One en route to a NATO summit in the Netherlands, the president lashed out at critics of the airstrikes that targeted three Iranian nuclear sites last weekend.

In particular, he zeroed in on Ocasio-Cortez, who has called for accountability and questioned the legality of the operation, reports TMZ.

“So go ahead and try impeaching me again — MAKE MY DAY!” Trump wrote in all caps. He accused Ocasio-Cortez of lacking intelligence, branding her “one of the dumbest people in Congress,” and coined a new nickname: “The Mouse.”

“She can’t stand the concept of our country being successful again,” Trump added, referring to the Congresswoman’s opposition to his foreign policy decisions.

The president’s online remarks didn’t stop with Ocasio-Cortez. He took aim at other progressive lawmakers, including Rep Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), whom he labeled a “Low IQ individual,” and Rep Ilhan Omar (D-Minn), whom he accused of “doing nothing but complain about our country.”

Trump referenced Omar’s Somali heritage, claiming that the country she emigrated from “doesn’t have a government” and is “one of the WORST in the world.”

Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez kicked off a wave of criticism on Saturday, June 21, taking to X to condemn Trump’s airstrike on Iran. She called the move a “disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers.”

AOC didn’t hold back, warning that Trump’s “impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations.” She didn’t stop there; she also called for his impeachment.

That struck a nerve with Trump, who took to Truth Social early Tuesday to unleash a fiery tirade aimed at AOC.

The comment quickly went viral, drawing praise from supporters. Many Trump fans viewed the remark as both humorous and biting.

One user wrote, “Omg. I can’t stop laughing! I just reposted this too. Ha! Trump should do some top-level stand-up comedy! He definitely has enough content with the Dems in office right now.”

Another chimed in with admiration, “Is this a competition? I RISE, TO APPLAUD THE PRESIDENT AND THE WHOLE TEAM FOR THEIR PRECISION AND BRAVERY, AND NOT ONE LEAK!”

“She really is dumb. I can't even imagine what goes through her head,” one wrote.

Some noted, “I am enjoying cranky Trump. He’s just saying exactly what’s going through the minds of a majority of Americans.”

Others said, “'The mouse'? I've never heard that one but effective.”

Still, a few questioned whether engaging with Ocasio-Cortez was even worth it, “He honestly shouldn’t waste his breath giving her the attn she craves.”
