Trump plays 'god' again in AI image, lifting planet Earth days after Jesus uproar
WASHINGTON, DC: Days after sharing controversial AI images allegedly depicting him as Jesus Christ, President Donald Trump, in his latest experiment with AI, envisioned himself as Atlas from Greek mythology.
President Donald Trump frequently shares and experiments with AI-generated images and videos, making artificial intelligence a staple of his digital communication strategy.
From the Iran war to the criticism of Obama’s presidential center, Trump has often used AI images to communicate with his audience.
Trump shares AI image depicting himself carrying Earth
Trump portrayed himself as Atlas in his latest experimentation with AI images on Truth Social.
On Saturday, June 27, he shared another AI-generated image, this time depicting himself carrying the Earth on his shoulders while draped in an American flag.
Trump posted a short video of himself lifting planet Earth, while an American flag hung across his shoulder.
The AI image appeared to draw inspiration from Atlas, the Greek mythological figure often depicted carrying the world on his shoulders. In mythology, however, Atlas was actually condemned by Zeus to hold up the heavens rather than the Earth.

Trump later followed up with another post featuring a recent UFC event held on the White House grounds.
The image showed fighter jets flying over the White House during the celebration marking America's 250th birthday.
Trump faces backlash over AI-generated Jesus image
Trump previously faced backlash after sharing an AI-generated image that appeared to portray him as Jesus Christ.
The image showed the robe-clad president healing a sick man while an American eagle flew overhead and a nurse looked on.
He later deleted the post following criticism, including from some of his own supporters. Trump then denied that the image was meant to depict him as Jesus Christ.
“I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor — and, had to do with Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker there, which we support,” he said at the time.

“And only the fake news could come up with that one. So I just heard about it, and I said, ‘How do they come up with that?’ It’s supposed to be me as a doctor making people better, and I do make people better. I make people a lot better,” he added.
