WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump was praised by people online after a video went viral showing him giving every Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon member a presidential challenge coin in the Oval Office on Wednesday, September 24.

The Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon performed on the South Lawn of the White House on Wednesday during an event for members of the President's cabinet and senior staff.

Trump invites Marine Corps Silent Platoon members into the Oval Office

Following the performance, Donald Trump invited the platoon into the Oval Office and presented each with a presidential challenge coin.

Trump's spokesperson, Margo Martin, shared the clip on X where the POTUS was seen giving a presidential challenge coin to Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon members.

She captioned the post, "President @realDonaldTrump personally hands each member of the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon a presidential challenge coin."



 

Martin posted another video on X where the members were seen performing at the White House.

After their performance was over, Trump, along with FB Director Kash Patel, was seen leading the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon members into the Oval Office.

The POTUS was heard saying, "Come on in here, fellas!", as he led them towards the Oval Office.



 

Trump was then seen presenting them with the presidential challenge coin and also shook hands with them.

Internet praises Donald Trump

Several internet users praised Donald Trump as he gave every Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon member a presidential challenge coin in the Oval Office.

A user wrote on X, "The best President in my lifetime. And this is from someone that didn’t want to vote for him in 2016 because of the image of him from the 80’s & 90’s," while one added, "I really like this guy now—never thought I would a few years ago. As a 20-year Air Force veteran, I love seeing presidents do this. These young men will never forget it."
