WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump claims his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein soured after the convicted sex offender allegedly recruited young female staff members, including Virginia Giuffre, from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

During a press briefing aboard Air Force One on Tuesday, July 27, Trump elaborated on comments he made in Scotland a day earlier, where he first stated that Epstein had “stolen” people who worked at his Palm Beach club’s spa.

Donald Trump admits Epstein poached Mar-a-Lago staff, including young women

Pressed by reporters about whether these individuals were young women, Trump replied, “The answer is yes,” adding, “He took people, I say ‘don't do it anymore’, you know they work for me... beyond that, he took some others,” Trump said. “Once he did that, that was the end of him.”

While flying back from Scotland aboard Air Force One, Trump expressed frustration over Jeffrey Epstein allegedly luring away his staff. Epstein was “taking people who worked for me. People were taken out of the spa, hired by Epstein, in other words, gone.”

“I said, listen, we don’t want you taking our people, whether it’s spa or not spa. He did it again, I said out of here.” Trump recalled.

Trump was also asked if the workers poached by Epstein included Giuffre, then a Mar-a-Lago pool locker-room attendant whose groundskeeper dad got her a job there.

Trump initially hesitated but ultimately responded, “I think so. He stole her.”

When pressed further to confirm about Guiffre, Trump said, “I think she worked at the spa. I think so. I think that was one of the people.”

“I don’t know. I think she worked at the spa. I think so. I think that was one of the people, yeah, he stole her,” Trump added. “And by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever.”

Giuffre had begun working at Mar-a-Lago’s spa at age 16 and later accused Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell of abuse.

According to unsealed court documents, Giuffre had long alleged that Maxwell, Epstein’s now-imprisoned former girlfriend, recruited her in 2000 while she was working as a teenage spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago. She was hired as Epstein’s masseuse.

Giuffre died by suicide earlier this year in Australia.

Donald Trump says he stopped speaking to Epstein after ‘inappropriate’ behavior

During his visit to Scotland a day earlier, Trump hinted at the same episode in remarks that drew immediate headlines. Trump commented while speaking to reporters in Scotland on Monday, July 28.

“That’s such old history, very easy to explain,” Trump said when pressed by a reporter about his past ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump told reporters, “For years, I wouldn’t talk to Jeffrey Epstein. I wouldn’t talk because he did something that was inappropriate. He hired help, and I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He stole people that work for me. I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He did it again. I threw him out. That was it. I am glad I did, if you want to know the truth.”

The White House had previously offered a different reason for the rift, stating that Epstein had been banned from Mar-a-Lago “for being a creep.”

On Tuesday, July 29, when asked if the two stories contradicted each other, Trump brushed off the discrepancy, “You know, it’s sort of a little bit of the same thing.”

Internet erupts after Donald Trump says Epstein ‘stole’ young women from Mar-a-Lago spa

President Donald Trump sparked a fresh wave of online fury after a bizarre and unsettling remark about Jeffrey Epstein during a conversation aboard Air Force One resurfaced online.

His new claim about the reasons why he ended a years-long friendship with Epstein contradicts previous statements made by him over the years concerning why he cut off contact with Epstein.

Trump, in an apparent reference to Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most well-known accusers, allegedly claimed that Epstein “stole” her from his Mar-a-Lago spa, prompting immediate condemnation across social media.

The phrasing ignited sharp backlash, especially the notion that Epstein “stole” a young woman, implying ownership or possession.

“You hired her. He stole her. You kept quiet. What does that make you?” one user asked.

“Oh my god. Are we going to normalize this? This is sick,” a user chimed in, echoing widespread disgust.

“Trump just implicated himself in the Epstein case. There should be congressional investigations ASAP,” one user demanded.

“Trump is doing a better job than anyone at proving to me he’s on the Epstein list lmfao,” another noted.

Some users pointed out that Trump’s language was lacking a sense of empathy.

“Keep in mind Trump has never expressed concern for her. Never ‘wished her well,’” one person commented. “He isn’t saying ‘the creep stole her away for his own sick desires.’ He just says ‘he stole her from me.’”

“This is not new, we’ve known this for a long time,” one user wrote, while another penned, “He stole her.” As if she were property. WTF.”
