WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump delivered a standout performance on 'Gutfeld!' as he confidently asserted that he knows pilots who look "better than Tom Cruise," while diving into the captivating mysteries surrounding Area 51, the infamous US Air Force base.

With the audience on the edge of their seats, Fox News regular panelist Kat Timpf posed a bold question, “Are there aliens at Area 51?”

Donald Trump appeared unfazed by the provocative question, responding, “I’ll tell you, it’s a funny thing because I think that might be the question I get more than any other. It is the craziest thing,” during his appearance on September 18.

“I don’t think I’m a believer,” the GOP nominee added. “But I have interviewed pilots that look – I like Tom Cruise – but better than Tom Cruise.” Whether Trump was referring to Cruise's credentials as a licensed pilot or his iconic role as Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell from 'Top Gun' remains up for debate.

His assertion sparked laughter, particularly given the serious nature of the topic at hand.

Donald Trump jokes about imposing tariffs on aliens

Additionally, Donald Trump shared unsettling accounts from pilots who reported witnessing unidentified aerial phenomena and flying objects.

He stated, “They were in the Oval Office, three or four pilots, these are not people that make up stories, they said, ‘All I know, sir, is there was a round object that was going four times faster than my F-22,' which is a very fast plane.”

“Four or five guys I’ve interviewed, solid people, great pilots for the US Air Force, etcetera, they’ve seen things that they cannot explain,” he added.

As the discussion took a humorous turn, Tyrus, another regular panelist, jokingly inquired if Trump would consider imposing tariffs on these hypothetical aliens.

"Follow-up question, Mr. President. If in fact there are aliens, would you be willing to put tariffs on them?" Tyrus inquired. Without hesitation, Trump responded with a quick, “Yes,” sending the audience into fits of laughter.
