NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former president Donald Trump doubled down on his attacks on the way Vice President Kamala Harris laughs, claiming it signaled she was a "crazy person".

In an interview with Fox News aired on Monday, July 29, Laura Ingraham asked the GOP presidential nominee to weigh in on whether the Democratic presumptive nominee was "more of an extremist than most Americans today still understand," as per Mediaite.

Asserting she was more extreme and "worse" than Sen Bernie Sanders, whom Trump labeled a "lunatic". He redirected his attack to the VP's laugh, adding she was told to cut it out.

"Now, she's trying to come back. She got rid of the laugh, I noticed. I haven't seen the crazy laugh. She's crazy. That laugh? That's a laugh of a crazy person. But I noticed she's not using that laugh anymore. Somebody convinced her, 'Don't, just don't laugh. Don't laugh under any circumstances.'"

Donald Trump blasts Kamala Harris' prosecutor experience

When Laura Ingraham admitted she liked Kamala Harris' laughter, Donald Trump claimed that it was not just the way she laughed. He then attacked her work as a prosecutor.

The MAGA spearhead branded his potential Democratic opponent as a "bad prosecutor".

"She was a prosecutor of Black people. She put thousands and thousands of Black people in jail over marijuana. But when it came to big crime – murders and everything else – she was weak. She would love to go after Trump," he added.

The Democrat recently claimed that she knew "Trump's type" of people from her prosecutor days when she came across "predators" and "fraudsters".

Earlier this month, Trump called Harris "laughing Kamala" but later pivoted his attack to a "lying Kamala".

The Vice President came under intense scrutiny from Republicans after President Joe Biden's historic exit from the 2024 race, passing the torch to her for the Democratic ticket last week.

The Trump campaign, that focused their line of attack on the incumbent's age and mental acuity until then, shifted strategy to target Harris, who is nearly two decades younger than 78-year-old Trump.

Internet slams Donald Trump for mocking Kamala Harris' laughter

Social media users ripped Donald Trump's continued mockery and attack on Kamala Harris' laugh, pointing out that the former president was miserable and had no idea of the value of a laugh.

"How bizarre can a presidential candidate get? He looks so intense when focusing on VP Harris laugh- what’s with that? He did self admit at a rally he doesn’t like to be laughed at. Maybe that’s it? A hearty female distinctive laugh unravels him?" a user wrote.

"Trump is weird! How sad must his life be, to be offended by Kamala’s genuine infectious laughter and happiness? A normal person breaks into a smile when she peels off. Only weirdos cringe in their little sad lives! Laugh on #Mamala, light up the country with joy!" another remarked.

"The old dude doesn't know the value of laugh," added a third user.

"Interesting how people want to criticize her laugh and translate that to Kamala being unfit or incapable but somehow he thinks he deserves a pass for being a felon. What kind of timeline are we even in right now?" read a fourth response.

"Men are really out here calling women crazy when they have nothing else to say!! 0/10 insult! lazy and not creative," someone else chimed in.

"Trump sure does focus on the big issues that really matter! Todays word to describe him and his circus is WEIRD," an individual wrote.

"A woman with a natural, in-love-with-life laugh. Of course Donald wouldn't get it. He lives at the totally manufactured-life level, a life that is total theater, a life in which he has posed as someone else all of his virtual, second-hand life," read one response.

"Says a bitter negative man. He’s so miserable why doesn’t he just leave!" another user said.
