WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump took a jab at Senator Elizabeth Warren on Tuesday, October 14, saying she "has no idea what she's doing."
Trump could not control the urge to take a quick shot at the Senator after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent brought her name up during a meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei at the White House.
Donald Trump calls Elizabeth Warren 'nasty, horrible senator'
Scott Bessent said that the POTUS and his administration have taken plenty of criticism from "American Peronists" like Elizabeth Warren, referring to former Argentine President Juan Peron, who characterized his ideology as a "national form of socialism".
Trump soon quipped and said, "That's a compliment," as everyone else in the room laughed.
"She has no idea what she's doing. A nasty, horrible senator. Other than that, I like her very much," the POTUS added.

Meanwhile, Bessent also talked about Warren’s "protege", New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani.
"I don’t even think he’s a Peronist. he’s more the—", Bessent said, as Trump added, "Communist."
Interestingly, Warren has campaigned for Mamdani, who identifies himself as a Democratic Socialist and has campaigned on ideas such as freezing the rent and free bus rides.
Notably, on Monday, Warren praised the release of the Israeli hostages, who were held captive by Hamas, but ignored President Trump’s role in brokering a peace deal.
She wrote in a post on X, "For two excruciating years, I have called for the return of the hostages brutally kidnapped on October 7th and held in Gaza. Today is a good day. Surviving Israeli hostages are finally home and reuniting with loved ones."

Today is a good day. Surviving Israeli hostages are finally home and reuniting with loved ones. I'm thinking of them and their families on this joyful day… https://t.co/V6uDL89Gzj
"I’m thinking of them and their families on this joyful day and praying for their full recovery. I’m also grieving for all those who can’t come home today," Warren added.
She concluded, "Today must also be an important step toward lasting peace in the region — peace for both Israelis and Palestinians. We must end the war in Gaza, surge humanitarian aid, and negotiate a two-state solution now."
JD Vance takes a brutal dig at Elizabeth Warren
Moments after Elizabeth Warren shared her post on X, JD Vance came up with a reply that sent shockwaves through political circles.
"The president told me he did this on Indigenous Peoples Day in honor of you," Vance wrote, as he referenced Trump’s long-running "Pocahontas" jab at the Senator over her past claims of Native American heritage.
Interestingly, the Vice President's one-liner instantly caught fire online, as people praised Vance’s quick wit and ability to deliver a cutting response without naming Warren directly.

Moreover, the exchange underscored the renewed tension between the Democratic Senator and President Trump’s administration, which has claimed a string of foreign policy wins since returning to office.
On Monday, President Trump delivered remarks to the Knesset in Jerusalem after helping broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. It led to the release of 20 Israeli hostages who had been held captive in Gaza for nearly two years.
