WASHINGTON, DC: A tense showdown unfolded aboard Air Force One on Tuesday, July 29, as President Donald Trump erupted at CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins following her pointed questions about his explosive allegations against Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump had just claimed that Epstein recruited young women from his Mar-a-Lago resort, specifically naming Virginia Giuffre, a prominent accuser in the high-profile case.

Kaitlan Collins presses Donald Trump over his recent comments about Epstein

After touching down in Washington, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins pressed President Trump on his recent comments about Jeffrey Epstein. “Mr President, you said Jeffrey Epstein was stealing young women from your spa. Did that raise alarm bells for you?” she asked.

Trump, visibly irritated and upset that she was speaking over another reporter, snapped, “Be quiet!” When Collins repeated the question, he again cut her off with the same command. On her third attempt, staff from the Office of the President intervened, clearing a path as Trump exited without addressing the inquiry.

Earlier, during the flight, Trump had remarked, “I think she worked at the spa… he stole her… and by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know.”

Collins also questioned whether Epstein’s convicted accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, had sought a pardon or immunity in return for her testimony, an issue Trump declined to comment on.

Speaking to reporters while returning from Scotland, Trump defended his employees and Mar-a-Lago, saying, “The concept of taking people that work for me is bad,” emphasizing the resort’s reputation as “one of the best spas in the world.” When asked directly whether Virginia Giuffre was one of those workers, Trump responded, “I think she worked at the spa… I think that was one of the people. He stole her.”

According to court records, Giuffre was just 17 years old when she worked as a spa assistant at Mar-a-Lago in 2000. Documents show that she was paid $1,866.50 during her tenure.
