PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former President Donald Trump wanted to "fire" the ABC News journalist who questioned his past comments at the National Association of Black Journalists convention panel on July 31.

The GOP presidential nominee voiced his anger towards Black journalist Rachel Scott during a live stream on internet personality Adin Ross' 'Kick' on August 5. The streamer asked for Trump's reaction to the grilling he faced from the journalist, which his campaign shortened to 30 minutes when it appeared the event went out of control.

"This woman starts talking … about racism, and I said, 'You didn't even say hello to me,' and I'm doing them a favor by doing this," Trump said recounting the NABJ panel with the ABC News journalist. "I'm doing this out of respect to the Black community."

Last week, Scott interrogated the real estate mogul about his past rhetoric against opponents and his inflammatory comments directed at officials and reporters of color.

"Why would Black voters trust you when you have used language like that?" the journalist asked, to which Trump responded, "I don't think I've been asked a question in such a horrible manner. You don't even say hello, how are you."

On the live stream, the MAGA spearhead stated that he didn't know who Scott was.

"She was nasty. Terrible person," Trump continued. "She is horrible. She was very nasty." He added, "If I owned that network I would fire her so fast."

At the NABJ convention, the ex-president reiterated his claim about his new Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris' racial identity, accusing her of embracing her Black identity only recently.

Harris is biracial, with her mother immigrating to the US from India and her father from Jamaica. Since the interview, Scott purportedly faced death threats, according to the NABJ executive director.

In an attempt to boost support from young voters, Trump joined the 23-year-old Ross, who has a prominent young male audience. The streamer also gifted the former president a Rolex and a Tesla CyberTruck.

"Trump is a vengeful bully," a user wrote.

"I guess #WeirdoDonOld didn't crush it like he said. 'She was nasty. Terrible person,' he said. 'She is horrible. She was very nasty.' Typical of DonOld when confronted," another remarked.

"He has no power to do so," tweeted a third user.

"Trump thinks he is still on 'The Apprentice,'" read a fourth response.

"He is such a giant baby. Those journalists didn't owe him anything. He's running for President, he should be able to defend his record," someone else said.

"Dictatorship already in action!!!!" An individual added.

Another user shared a GIF that read, "Are you stupid or something."

"He sure can dish it out but can’t take it - petty little man," read one remark.
