MOUNT POCONO, PENNSYLVANIA: President Donald Trump drew a wall-to-wall crowd at a Mount Pocono casino on Tuesday, Dec 9, and joked with them about his time left in office.

The president touched on a range of topics, listing his achievements since taking office for a second time. At one point, Trump acknowledged that he has three years left in his second and final term. The faithful audience in the Keystone State erupted into cries of "Four more years!"

Almost a year into his second term, Trump addressed their calls. "Well, you know what? We have three years and two months to go," he noted, adding, "And do you know what that is in Trump time? Three years and two months is called eternity! We have a long... We have a lot of time," he said to cheers.

While Trumpers would definitely want him in office for "eternity," the 22nd Amendment draws a hard line that “no person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice.”

The 47th president has fueled curiosity in recent months by floating third-term jokes, including posting an AI-generated photo of himself last month holding a sign reading, “Trump 2028, yes!”

Jobs, steel, and a Christmas greeting

Trump ticked through a list of what he says his administration has delivered for Pennsylvania.

"Since my inauguration, we've created nearly 60,000 new Pennsylvania jobs, including 4,000 Pennsylvania manufacturing jobs... and we saved a great American company, US STEEL!" he said. "More than 40,000 Pennsylvanians have been lifted off food stamps... we've secured commitments for nearly $100 billion of investment in Pennsylvania."

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent set the tone earlier in the evening, taking a shot at Biden’s Scranton roots. "I hear Scranton is Joe Biden's hometown. But as far as I can tell, this is Trump country," he remarked.

Trump opened his remarks by saying, "I'm thrilled to be back in this incredible Commonwealth, with so many proud, hardworking American patriots... Let me begin by wishing each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas."

Trump repeatedly hammered Democrats over rising prices, insisting his administration is reversing the trend. "I have no higher priority than making America affordable again!" he declared. "They [Democrats] gave you high prices, and we're bringing those prices down!"

He pointed to what he described as early signs of relief. "Rent prices are down. Dairy prices are coming down very strongly. The cost of Thanksgiving turkeys was down by 33% compared to the Biden-era [high]!" he noted.

Supporters broke into “USA! USA!” as he continued unloading on Biden. He even polled the crowd on nicknames, asking whether they liked “Sleepy Joe or Crooked Joe.”

Trump slams 's***hole' immigrants, Obamacare and praises National Guard heroes

The President also revisited his long-running critique of US immigration policy.

"Why is it we only take people from s***hole countries, right?" he asked. "Why can’t we have some people from Norway, Sweden, just a few? I object to taking immigrants from hellholes like Afghanistan, Haiti, Somalia, and many other countries."

He also swiped at Rep. Ilhan Omar, saying she "does nothing but b***h" and appeared to tie her to the Minnesota welfare fraud scandal.

At one point, Trump blasted Obamacare as a giveaway to insurers. "Under Obamacare, trillions of dollars were given directly to health insurance companies," he argued. "I want to give billions of dollars directly to the people... I want to give nothing to the insurance companies! We want you to go out and buy your own health insurance."

The President also honored US Army Spc Sarah Beckstrom (who was killed in a recent shooting) and wounded Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe.

"Today I got a call that he got up from bed. Do you believe that? He got up. He got up," Trump said of Wolfe. "Now, he didn’t speak. He’s not ready for that yet. I mean, he got hit in the head."

Of Beckstrom, he said, "She’s looking at us from heaven, from above."
