WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump issued a sweeping update on the nation’s military readiness on Tuesday, March 3, claiming that United States munitions stockpiles have "never been higher or better".

In a lengthy Truth Social post, the President stated that he has been briefed on a "virtually unlimited supply" of medium and upper-medium grade weapons, asserting that such resources allow wars to be fought "forever" and "very successfully".

While Trump touted a "good supply" of high-end weaponry, he noted that the inventory in that specific category is "not where we want to be".

He further revealed that additional high-grade weaponry is currently stored for the US in outlying countries as the administration continues its efforts to rebuild military strength.

Trump slams Biden over Ukraine spending

Trump also took the opportunity to blast his predecessor, "Sleepy Joe Biden," for depleting American resources. Trump accused the previous administration of spending "hundreds of billions of dollars" to give "everything" to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whom he referred to as the "P.T. Barnum of Ukraine".

According to Trump, Joe Biden gave away "super high end" equipment for free without bothering to replace the stocks.

The President credited his own first term with rebuilding the military and stated that those efforts are continuing to ensure the United States remains "stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG!!!".

Global positioning of high-grade weaponry

President Trump asserted that under his leadership, the US has achieved a "virtually unlimited supply" of medium and upper-medium grade weaponry, which he described as being superior to the "finest arms" of any other country.

Beyond domestic stockpiles, the US maintains a sophisticated network of Prepositioned Stocks (APS) located in strategic "outlying countries" to ensure rapid response capabilities. These forward-deployed arsenals include heavy armored vehicles, artillery, and thousands of tons of ammunition situated in regions such as Europe, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific.

By keeping high-grade equipment near potential flashpoints, the military reduces the time required to deploy combat-ready forces from months to mere days. This logistical framework is designed to sustain high-intensity operations while the domestic industrial base scales up production to replenish long-term inventories.
