Trump’s ex-aide flags new evidence of POTUS' mental decline amid Epstein hoax: ‘The man is unraveling'

Lev Parnas said the real story isn't about Donald Trump's next move but what he's doing now, claiming he's turning on his own MAGA base

WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's former associate, Lev Parnas, recently sparked concerns regarding the POTUS' mental decline amid the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein file controversies.

Parnas, who worked with the White House team on behind-the-scenes matters, has recently been discussing the president's actions on Substack.

On Thursday, July 17, Lev Parnas talked about what Donald Trump is doing in terms of lodging fresh insults at his own MAGA followers.

The former associate wrote, "I know a lot of you have been wondering what Trump’s next move might be. But as I’ve been telling you, the real story isn’t about what he will do, it’s about what he’s already doing right now. The cover-up is intensifying. And this morning, Donald Trump took a sledgehammer to what remained of his MAGA base."

"In a Truth Social post, he didn’t just call out his supporters, he disemboweled them. The very people who built his movement and who defended him through every scandal were called irrelevant. Weaklings," he wrote.

He further added that later in the day, Trump "doubled down while taking questions in the Oval. He called MAGA foolish, stupid, and duped by the Democrats, specifically about what he now calls the 'Epstein hoax'."

Parnas added that this unforced error was because of Trump's mental health. "This was a big mistake. Because something is happening that the media is not reporting," he added.

Parnas then mentioned, "But I’ve been telling you for months, and now even Trump’s closest allies are starting to admit it: the man is unraveling."

"You could call it desperation, cognitive decline, or just plain delusion. But when Donald Trump can’t remember that he himself nominated Jerome Powell to the Fed, and then blames Joe Biden for it, you know something is deeply wrong. He’s so used to blaming Biden for everything, it’s now automatic. The economy? Biden’s fault. The Epstein files? Biden planted them," he added.

Parnas also mentioned, "Quinnipiac’s bombshell poll just dropped, and it shows what Trump fears most: his own voters are done being lied to. 63 percent of all voters disapprove of Trump’s Epstein cover-up. But here’s the kicker: 40 percent of Republicans are rejecting his stonewalling, too. That’s not a political hiccup—that’s a full-blown revolt inside the base."

"And the response from Trump? Rage. Projection. Attacks," he wrote.

Donald Trump slams ‘weaklings’ and past supporters over fixation on Jeffrey Epstein hoax

Donald Trump took to Truth Social and slammed "weaklings" and "past supporters," claiming they were buying into the Jeffrey Epstein hoax.

The POTUS added that he doesn’t even want their support anymore.

On July 16, Trump wrote on Truth Social, "Unlike Republicans, they [Democrats] stick together like glue. Their new scam is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my past supporters have bought into this ‘bulls**t,’ hook, line, and sinker." "They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years," he added.

The POTUS concluded his post, "Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats' work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore! Thank you for your attention to this matter. Make America Great Again!"

Trump was asked about the Epstein drama during an Oval Office meeting on Wednesday, July 16, with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and blasted the controversy again as a "big hoax."

"I’ve lost a lot of faith in certain people, yeah, I’ve lost. Because they got duped by the Democrats," the POTUS said.

Trump added, "It’s all been a big hoax. It’s perpetrated by the Democrats and some stupid Republicans and foolish Republicans fall into the net and so they and do the Democrats’ work."

He also said, "The Democrats are good for nothing other than these hoaxes. They’re bad for policy. They’re bad for picking candidates that can get elected, like in New York, we have a Communist [Zohran Mamdani] running. He may get elected to it, actually, but he’ll destroy the city."
