WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump garnered attention recently for his reaction when Tesla CEO Elon Musk answered a reporter's question at the White House on Wednesday, February 12.

The reporter asked Musk to publicly correct a statement he made about sending $50 million worth of condoms to Gaza in the Middle East, whereas it was Gaza in Mozambique, according to Unilad.

Donald Trump's reaction to Elon Musk's expensive 'mistake'

The reporter asked Elon Musk, "You said an example of fraud that you have cited was $50 million of condoms was sent to Gaza but after a fact-check apparently it was Gaza in Mozambique meant to protect them against HIV."

The journalist added, "How can we make sure that all the statements that you said were correct, so we can trust what you say?"

Musk, who also leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), said, "Some of the things that I say will be incorrect and should be corrected. I mean, you know, we will make mistakes, but we'll act quickly to correct any mistakes."

He added, "I'm not sure we should be sending $50 million worth of condoms to anywhere, frankly. I'm not sure that's something Americans would be really excited about."

However, it was Trump's reaction during the questioning which was interesting as he was seen raising his eyebrows, shaking his head, had a smirk on his face at one point, per the outlet.

The viral moment was then shared by several people across social media platforms and people shared different views about it.

An X user shared the viral moment and wrote, "In this video, just look at Trump's body language and movements—it's clear that he's uncomfortable with Elon Musk. On one hand, he handed America over to Israel, and on the other, to a lunatic like Elon. He had no choice."

Internet divided as Donald Trump's reaction to Musk's reply goes viral

People on the internet chimed in and shared their views on Donald Trump's reaction to Elon Musk's reply to a journalist's question in the White House. Some believed the reaction was for the reporter who asked the question while others took jibes at Musk for behaving casually in front of the President.

A user wrote on X, "When the reporter was asking Elon to correct the record about condoms for Gaza, which were instead for $50 million of condoms to Mozambique, I zoomed in on Trump‘s face, And he cracks me up more than you’ll ever know," while one added, "@elonmusk You don't correct them. You keep lying."

A person also stated, "And wearing a hat indoors, especially in the presence of the president, is incredibly rude. This isn't the street, dude," whereas one mentioned, "I have to admit that it is odd to hear someone admitting to mistakes from the White House."

Meanwhile, a user also wrote, "Trump is reacting to the stupid question. Not to Elon," while one commented, "Trump does not look uncomfortable and only the location was correct."

A person added, "I love the expressions on President Trump's face!" whereas one wrote, "Questions about condoms, not for a child to hear. Thank god he is small, it's just another adult word to him."
