WASHINGTON, DC: During‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ a press briefing, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard revealed that the newly released information linked to an intelligence review might implicate former President Barack Obama.

Her comments were in response to a question pointing to whether any of the materials that her office made public had insinuated that Obama had committed a ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌crime.

Can Barack Obama be implicated for criminal behavior?

During a press briefing at the White House, a member of the press asked Gabbard, “Do you believe that any of this new information implicates former President Obama in criminal behavior?”

In response to this, Gabbard responded, “We have referred and will continue to refer all of these documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI to investigate the criminal implications of this.”

She went on to say, “The evidence that we have found and that we have released directly point to President Obama leading the manufacturing of this intelligence assessment. There are multiple pieces of evidence and intelligence that confirm that fact.”

Conspiracy to attempt to undermine Donald Trump’s administration

Reporters‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ kept questioning the extent of her accusations, mentioning that she implied the ex-president had a hand in activities that might be considered a coup against the Trump administration. A reporter enquired if she thought that Obama was ‘guilty of treason.’

To this, Gabbard responded with firmness, “I’m leaving the criminal charges to the Department of Justice. I’m not an attorney. But as I’ve said previously, when you look at the intent behind creating a fake manufactured intelligence document that directly contradicts multiple assessments that were created by the intelligence community, the expressed intent and what followed afterward can only be described as a years-long coup and a treasonous conspiracy against the American people, our republic, and an attempt to undermine President Trump’s administration.”

Recently, Tulsi Gabbard came into conversation when she defended Donald Trump’s proposed travel ban on 36 nations, calling it a necessary response to rising security threats.

Gabbard claimed that both Islamist ideology and foreign terrorist groups pose dangers to Americans, claiming many extremists entered the country under the previous administration’s lax border policies.

Neither‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Obama nor his representatives have publicly responded to the allegations. The Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have also not issued any statements regarding the materials that Gabbard mentioned were submitted.

There is still a lot of confusion about whether they will check out the files any time soon or if they will open a formal ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌investigation.
