'Two Broke Girls' star Kat Dennings reveals she met husband Andrew W K under 'mysterious circumstances'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kat Dennings recently exchanged vows with musician Andrew W K in a cozy, 15-person ceremony at their Los Angeles residence on November 27.

Sharing glimpses of her special day on social media, the 'Two Broke Girls' star showed her fans a few highlights of their intimate ceremony.

Kat Dennings says it was obvious she and Andrew W K were 'made for each other'

The first picture of the wedding Dennings posted on Instagram showcased her in a stunning cream-colored lace dress as she posed on a sofa.

The subsequent slide captured her smile as she walked down the aisle with her 44-year-old husband as they were surrounded by attendees who threw rose petals into the air to celebrate their joyous moment.

The 'Dollface' actress talked about how she knew Andrew was her perfect match, she said, "It quickly became obvious that we were made for each other."

"About three years ago, Andrew had come to visit me for the first time. At the end of his trip, we couldn’t imagine ever separating."

"We actually proposed to each other in the kitchen at the exact same moment," she added.

Kat Dennings reveals why she ditched traditional white wedding gown

Speaking about the reason behind not choosing the traditional white wedding gown, Dennings said, "I realized that, as a very pale person, I didn’t like myself in white."

The actress finally chose the "most perfect" vintage Alexander McQueen dress after she had tried several other options.

Kat Dennings and Andrew W K wanted a 'small home wedding'

The recently wed couple decided to have an intimate ceremony which was a nod to their sentimental engagement. "But in the end, the kitchen engagement moment kept calling back to us," said Dennings.

"We realized that a small home wedding was too cozy to resist. Plus, all our stuff was there so we wouldn’t have to pack anything," she said of their 15-person wedding ceremony.

Sharing a picture from their nuptials on November 27, Dennings wrote, 'just married'.

In May 2021, 'The House Bunny' actress and the musician announced their engagement just one week after they revealed they were dating.

Sharing three engagement pictures of herself and Andrew, Dennings wrote, "Don't mind if I do." The actress debuted her engagement ring in two of the images she shared.

According to a press release for Andrew's album 'God is Partying' in May 2021, the singer and the actress met "earlier this year in Los Angeles."
