‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Brittany Cartwright says ‘marriage is hard’ amid rumors of rift with Jax Taylor
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Vanderpump Rules' star Brittany Cartwright has shut down rumors about having issues with her husband, Jax Taylor.
The television personality during the latest episode of the podcast ‘When Reality Hits’ that she co-hosts with Taylor, said, as per PEOPLE, “I’m not going to go too hard on this because, you know, some people do deserve to have their privacy.”

She further mentioned, “But I will say — marriage is hard and people go through ups and downs all the time and it’s completely normal. Sometimes people might need their space [and] sometimes they won’t.”

On the podcast, Cartwright, however, noted that dynamics between her and her 44-year-old husband have changed a bit after shooting the upcoming ‘Vanderpump Rules’ spinoff, ‘The Valley’.
The 35-year-old reportedly stated, “I just want to make one thing clear and that is that my life is not a publicity stunt for anything. We filmed 'The Valley' months ago — months and months and months ago.”
She continued, “And we’re super excited for this to come out and there’s been so many changes that have happened in so every single couple’s lives — every single couple on the show,” before adding, “I just want to make that very clear: no publicity stunts here.”

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have been married for five years
Cartwright and Taylor got married in 2019 and became parents to a son named Cruz in April 2021.
Recalling her wedding day in 2023, the mother-of-one told PEOPLE, “I didn't want him to see me before we got married. I wanted that first look to be walking down the aisle.”
“My favorite memory is seeing him for the first time walking down the aisle. That's what I was the most excited for. I just love that!” she added.
