Fans express outrage and petition to save the show

Fans have expressed outrage over the show’s cancellation, even creating a petition on Change.com, calling for CBS to save the show and launching a “#SaveNCISHawaii” hashtag on X.

"NCIS: Hawaii has been more than just a television show for many of us," the petition reads in part.

"t's not just about the thrilling plotlines or the engaging characters; it's about what they stand for and how they've touched our hearts," it adds in part.

"Beyond its impact on individual viewers, 'NCIS: Hawai'i' has also brought together a diverse fandom community that spans across ages and backgrounds. It has breathed new life into an already beloved franchise by attracting a wider audience," the petition reads further.

"CBS cancelling a female-led show with POC and queer representation really hurts. The show is so much more than just a show. It’s family. The cast and crew deserve better. We deserve better. #NCISHawaii #SaveNCISHawaii," wrote one on X.

"Feel like a broken record but cancelling a female lead show a main lesbian couple and a diverse cast bc of a poor decision to greenlight a show w a known abuser and another one about a white man who had already 18 seasons worth of stories is sick" wrote one more.

"Woke up and still in shock. I can’t believe I’m losing them," wrote one more while another added, "I'm pissed off !!!"
