LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Vanna White admitted that she was initially worried about her chemistry with new ‘Wheel of Fortune’ co-host Ryan Seacrest

Seacrest joined the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ cast following the retirement of Pat Sajak, who helmed the show along with White since 1982.

Talking to CBS News Sunday Morning’s Luke Burbank on September 1, White shared that initially, she was worried about the ‘American Idol’ host, but she is now assured that their “chemistry is good.”

Veteran 'Wheel of Fortune' host Vana White told Luke Burbank, “I’ve known Ryan for probably 20 years, but in the past couple of months we’ve done some traveling together for the show and we got to know each other a little better too, so I think our chemistry is good.”

White went on to ask Burbank about his opinion, prompting him to reply that the duo looked like they had been paired up on screen “forever.”

Burbank later asked the 67-year-old host whether she was anxious about her latest collaboration with Seacrest as there’s no accounting for the chemistry between the two hosts, Deadline reported.

“That’s so true,” admitted White, further adding, “I had no idea what to expect when I’m used to one person for so long. I was very scared, but he’s doing a great job.”

Seacrest, who has hosting credits for shows like ‘American Idol’, ‘Live!’, and ‘American Top 40’, joined the cast of ‘Wheel of Fortune’ after Sajak retired following his farewell episode on June 7.

The new season with Seacrest and White as the hosts will be commencing from September 9.

“It’s more than a TV show. It is something that means something to people, and when I found out this was an opportunity for me, there was no thought to this. It was like, ‘Absolutely, let’s figure it out, and let’s get started,'” he added.
