WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene doubled down on her opposition to more Ukraine aid, lashing out at everyone demanding Congress to pass more military assistance to the war-torn country.

In an interview on former White House adviser Steve Bannon's 'War Room' podcast on Friday, April 12, the lawmaker from Georgia argued more aid would be equivalent to "paying for the slaughter and the murder" of more Ukrainian soldiers, according to the New York Post.

"This whole thing is the most repulsive, disgusting thing happening, and the American people are the ones writing the check," Greene, a hardcore Donald Trump ally, said.

"I absolutely hate everybody here that is doing this. I seriously hate them for doing this," she fumed.

Marjorie Taylor Greene criticizes Mike Johnson

Greene slammed the $60 billion emergency funding request from President Joe Biden to Ukraine to resist the Russian invasion, stating her "stomach flipped" about the possibility. She argued that Speaker Mike Johnson would eventually manage to pass the Senate-approved bill.

"Everybody should be demanding that the Republican-elected speaker of the House stop listening to the garbage and lies that he's being told and do the right thing," she said, urging to spend the $60 billion on border security instead.

Greene stepped up on her criticism against Johnson amid her looming threat to oust him from speakership after she filed a motion for it in March.

Congressional leaders announced Tuesday they had reached a deal on a FY2024 spending package that includes budgets for about three-quarters of all federal discretionary spending, including Defense, Homeland Security, Labor-Health and Human Services, and other bills. The Georgia Republican further claimed the US politicians were forcing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to go on with the fight, causing "amputees" and "injured soldiers" to return back to the frontline of its battle with Russia.

"America is breathing down their throats and saying, 'You must continue to fight and we're going to pay for it and force you to do it,'" Greene argued in the podcast.

"That is the only country that — for some weird, sick and evil reason — that they care about," she added, dismissing claims that Vladimir Putin would invade other European countries and further questioning motives behind Biden's insistence to provide military aid to a non-NATO country.

The $95 billion Senate-approved foreign aid package, which includes funding to Israel and Ukraine, has not survived the Housefloor yet. Speaker Johnson expressed his plan to introduce the bill for a House vote, but Greene threatened to introduce a motion to immediately remove him from leadership if he acted on more Ukraine aid.
