LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Vice President Kamala Harris shared some sharp remarks about Donald Trump's conviction in the hush money trial during her appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Tuesday, June 4.

Harris, much like President Joe Biden, has begun to comment on the state court case, which had previously seen minimal discussion from the administration and the campaign throughout the six-week trial.

Kamala Harris says 'cheaters don't like getting caught' about Trump's conviction

Since his conviction on Thursday, May 30, Trump has denounced the justice system as "rigged," with both him and some of his allies attributing his prosecution to President Biden.

On the late-night show, Harris told Kimmel, “A jury of 12 people, peers, over the course of six weeks, deliberated on the evidence and facts and unanimously determined guilt on 34 felony counts. There was a defense attorney who actively participated in selecting that jury, who actively made decisions about witnesses to call, witnesses to cross-examine."

The VP continued, "And the jury made their decision and you know, I think that the reality is, cheaters don’t like getting caught and being held accountable. The reality is, let’s just fast forward again to November. I think the American people want to know that there is a president who is accountable to the people,"

During her appearance, Harris also found a supportive platform to discuss key issues of the reelection campaign, such as abortion and healthcare.

Taking on Trump on the issue of Roe v Wade, the VP said, "The former President Donald Trump handpicked three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention that they would undo the protections of Roe v Wade and they did as he intended," and stressed that the government should not be telling any woman "what to do with her body."

When Kamala was discussing the government's work with the drug problem, Kimmel guided the conversation toward cannabis legalization and amusingly asked if she was aware of a strain named after her called "Kamala Kush."

Sporting a wide smile, she replied that she was in fact not aware of it.

Kimmel is set to join a Los Angeles campaign fundraiser next week, where he will moderate a panel featuring President Biden and former President Barack Obama.

The late-night host has been vocal on significant issues like healthcare, having criticized Republican attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act shortly after Trump's inauguration in 2017.

Internet mocks Kamal Harris as she hints Donald Trump is a 'cheater'

One netizen expressed, "Laughing hyenas are not Presidential material nor VP material," while another asked, "She’s speaking from an experienced perspective?"

"She knows all about cheating," joked a person and someone else added, "Harris has the intellect of a walnut."

An individual declared, "And some cheaters lie about cheating," referring to Harris.

One more slammed her saying, "She has time for a hollywood show? She obviously doesn't have enough work to do, or she doesn't know how to do it. Who paid for for her trip there? Neither her or Kimmel have the smarts to discuss government."

"Harris lecturing Trump on his morals? Hypocrisy abounds," expressed another person.
