Vin Diesel accused of sexual battery by former assistant Asta Jonasson while filming 'Fast Five' in 2010
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A former assistant of Vin Diesel has accused the star of sexual battery during 'Fast and Furious' production in 2010.
Asta Jonasson, who has accused Diesel, was hired by One Race Films, a production company as an assistant while he filmed 'Fast Five' in Georgia in 2010.
Vin Diesel is accused of forcibly grabbing and groping his assistant Asta Jonasson
In the lawsuit, as reported by TMZ, the 'Fast and Furious' star was in a suite at St Regis in Atlanta, entertaining 'multiple women' when the alleged assault happened.
Jonasson was tasked to get Diesel out of the hotel to "avoid photographers" and when all women left, he "forcibly grabbed her, groped her breast and kissed her."
The alleged incident happened when they were still in the suite and although Jonasson "struggled to break free," Diesel allegedly "continued forcing himself on her."
Vin Diesel is accused of lifting his ex-assistant's dress
The assault did not stop there as, according to the lawsuit, the 'Bloodshot' actor allegedly lifted Jonasson's dress and "tried to pull down her underwear."
It was before she was pinned against the wall and then 'The Fate of the Furious' actor grabbed her hand placing it on his "erect p***s". Diesel also pulled down his cargo shorts and remained in his underwear, the lawsuit alleges.
"He then pulled down his underwear and started m***********g while still leaning against her," the publication reported, citing the court documents.
Vin Diesel's ex-assistant says she closed her eyes to get through the assault
The publication further reported that Jonasson closed her eyes to "dissociate" and get through the alleged ordeal.
Jonasson said when he finished, he pulled up his shorts and said, "No one can say s**t about Asta" and left the room.
Following the alleged assault, Jonasson was fired by Vin Diesel's sister Samantha Vincent who was president of One Race. Vincent called her and "fired her, saying they no longer needed her help."
Asta Jonasson believes she was fired because she resisted Vin Diesel's assault
Jonasson, as per the report, said she believes she was fired because she resisted Diesel during the alleged assault.
Jonasson, however, remained silent for "fear of Diesel's power in Hollywood", and because of her immigration status as a green card holder. However, now she had felt empowered by the #MeToo movement. She has also cited California's Speak Out Act. It allows victims to file sexual assault claims for alleged incidents dating back to 2009.
"She's suing Vin, his sister and One Race Films for sexual battery, wrongful termination and hostile work environment," TMZ reports.
