Viral fitness influencer Ashton Hall slammed after he bizarrely compares himself to Jesus: 'He is extra'

MIAMI, FLORIDA: Fitness influencer Ashton Hall has received a lot of sarcastic comments online after he weirdly compared himself to Jesus in an online post.

The fitness coach had shared a video of his morning routine in February, but it went viral recently after it was reposted on X (formerly Twitter) by @tipsformenx, receiving millions of views.

The video also resulted in a wave of memes and parodies. 

Ashton Hall claims God has sent him to ‘lead’

Now, an earlier video of Ashton Hall is doing rounds on social media, in which he has indirectly compared himself to Jesus. He said, “I’m here to address the nonsense. So many videos are being sent to me, duplicates of my videos,” as reported by KTLA 5. 

He continued, “For the creators sick and tired of their work being copied, listen to me well: you’re either going to be a leader or a follower and it’s okay to be either one. But you have to choose.”

The former college football player further mentioned that he “realized that God has me here to lead, not to follow anyone,” before adding, “So that’s what I’m going to do. When I see someone following away, I should be hyped.”

“I’m not going to act like I’m a Saint. I used to block anybody who was doing anything similar to me. That was me! I’m blocking them," Hall shared.

But he then compared himself to Jesus Christ. “Then I realized, bro, people follow Jesus. Why? Because he was great. As a Christian man (he asked himself), ‘Why are you angry if they’re following you?’ Matter of fact, if you’re doing something with good intention, it should be a great thing,” Hall added. 

X Community Notes have, however, mentioned under the post, "This video was posted on Aston Hall's Instagram account on February 8, and it has nothing to do with the latest online chatter or rather mocking of his content style."

Internet slams Ashton Hall after he compares himself to Jesus

People online shared their thoughts on Ashton Hall comparing himself to Jesus and brutally mocked him by calling him "extra."

An Instagram user wrote, “He is extra, too extra and it's fruity.”
