NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Charli XCX surprised her fans by bringing Lorde to perform together at her concert in Madison Square Garden arena, New York, on Monday, September 23.

The ‘Royals’ singer joined Charli on stage as the two sang along to the track, ‘Girl, So Confusing’, which the latter wrote about Lorde during their feud.

The 32-year-old yelled to the crowd, "Let me hear you!" as Lorde, 27, came out and hit the verse in an all-black outfit.

As the pair got the audience in full flow, Charli exclaimed again, "Make some noise!" before hugging Lorde at the end of their duet performance, per Entertainment Weekly.

Charli released her sixth studio album, ‘Brat’ in June, and its song ‘Girl, So Confusing’ instantly went viral, where the artist talks about her relationship with Lorde.

During their performance, Charli performed the ‘Girl, So Confusing’ remix version with Lorde.

“We talk about making music / But I don’t know if it’s honest / Can’t tell if you wanna see me / Falling over and failing. You’d always say, ‘Let’s go out’ / But then I’d cancel last minute / I was so lost in my head / And scared to be in your pictures,” Lorde chimed.

"Cause for the last couple years / I’ve been at war with my body / I tried to starve myself thinner / And then I gained all the weight back / I was trapped in the hatred / And your life seemed so awesome / I never thought for a second / My voice was in your head,” she continued.
